"This was the best night", Taylor slurred drunkenly when she entered the hotel room with Travis by her side. They just came back from Kenny Chesney's concert and it had gotten pretty late. "Better than the Super Bowl?", Travis asked jokingly while closing the door behind them. She pretended to think about it, so he picked her up and threw her over his shoulder making her screech. "It isn't! Nothing could!", she giggled but Travis just carried her over to the bed and placed her on the mattress with a gentle throw. She let out another little scream and a handful of giggles. "You, my dear, are drunk", Travis smiled while climbing up to her after throwing his shoes and pants aside. "No, I'm not", she sulked. "Tipsy at least", he argued and booped her nose with his making her giggle once more. "A little bit", she admitted and tried to kiss him. But Travis dodged her attempt with a grin. "Kiss me!", she protested. "What's the word?", he asked dodging another attempt. "Please", she rolled her eyes but he wasn't satisfied. "What's with that attitude?", Travis continued to mess with her but Taylor had enough and quickly attacked him, so he fell next to her and she could climb on top of him. Travis laughed until she held his head with both of her hands and finally kissed him. They continued to mess around for a while but ultimately just fell asleep.
They made their way to New York the next day and soon back to Kansas City because the Cheifs had a game in a few days. So Travis had practice and Taylor worked from his place. She was already excited for the game and secretly got back into her football knowledge with a few videos. The last game had been a while ago and she just wanted to really understand everything again. But she felt good about remembering a lot while watching the videos and confidently got ready for the evening a few days later. Travis was more than happy to know that she was there to support him. Every time he could catch a glimpse of her in the booth, it fueled his energy and motivation to give his absolute best. It was still, like every year in the first games, hard, and the whole team knew they weren't playing out their full potential. But it was enough today and they celebrated the win.
"D'you wanna go out tomorrow? Dinner date?", Travis mumbled pulling Taylor close to his side still at the afterparty of this game. "Let's talk about that tomorrow, hm?", she suggested. It was the first time that Travis was pretty drunk and Taylor had stayed sober entirely. She just knew how busy this week was going to be and didn't want to risk a hangover. "I already booked", he showed her his phone. Taylor sighed. "Okay", she chuckled and put his phone in her pocket so he wouldn't do anything else online. Travis didn't even care. "You're always so pretty on our dates", he told her still holding her close. "Thank you, baby", she smiled and then started to convince him to go to bed eventually. He was asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow and Taylor was a little surprised at how easy it was to get him out of the car and upstairs. He was drunk but apparently only in the funny and cute way. There was nothing annoying about it.
Waking up the next morning, she still prepared some pain killers and water for him before also preparing breakfast. "Oh, am I getting the full hangover package?", Travis smiled tiredly when he entered the kitchen. Taylor couldn't answer too concentrated on the scrambled eggs. "Thank you, Allie", he hugged her from behind and kissed her head. Taylor immediately smiled and leaned into him. "You booked us a dinner night we have to get you back on track today", she said finishing the eggs. "Oh, yeah... Do you wanna go? Cause your week is packed even more than mine", he asked. "We don't have to stay out late", she suggested. "Okay", he agreed. So they made their way to New York as planned and got ready for a date night there.
"Boots or heels?!", Taylor yelled through the closed door. Travis was getting ready in the bedroom smiling to himself. "The hotter ones", he answered hearing her laugh immediately. "I don't know what you find hot", she chuckled. "You either way!", he yelled back again. "Not helpful Trav!", she laughed again. "Boots then", he rolled his eyes playfully. "So like that?", she soon came out of the walk-in closet. "Ho-ly shit. Whatever the shoes, Tay, you look gorgeous", he couldn't stop staring making her blush. She gave him a little twirl. "Can I go with this... see-through thing?", she asked still a little insecure not about how she looked but about how fitting it was for the location. "Do you feel comfortable?", he just asked. Taylor smiled and nodded, therefore answering her own question. So they left for their dinner date.
Anyone made plans while drunk and actually pulled through?
