On the second show day in London, Taylor invited Jason and Kylie to come along with her to the soundcheck and all that too but they opted to get a little more sleep due to their Jet Lag. So they only met for breakfast and hung out a little after that before Taylor had to leave for the stadium. Travis thought about spending the day with his brother and sister-in-law but he needed to practice for his stage debut the next day, so he went with his girlfriend. "Will you tell Jason that you'll come on stage tomorrow?", Taylor asked on the way to the stadium. He thought about it for a second not stopping to stroke the back of her hand with his thumb. "I don't think so. It should be a surprise for as many people as possible", he said. Taylor nodded. She was still fighting the doubts about him actually doing it. "I would've surprised you but I think I shouldn't dare to come on to your stage without asking", he added now taking her hand fully and placing them in his lap. "I appreciate it", she smiled a little. Taylor truly did because having him on stage without telling her was weird. She would get distracted and the show would probably not benefit from that. "I still can't believe you said yes", she admitted looking down insecurely. Travis squeezed her hand smiling softly at her. "I did. I want to do this. As nervous as I am already, I won't re-think any decision now. I want to have that moment with you", he told her reassuringly.
The soundcheck went well and Taylor was done fairly early as she had hoped to be. Travis got a little more jittery when he went on stage to practice with Kam and Jan. Tree had banned pretty much everyone else so it would stay a secret. "It's bigger than it looks", Travis noticed looking around on stage. "Okay, so we start here", Taylor interrupted his thoughtful moment and they all went over to where this choreography would start. "You come out there. We can practice that in a moment. I will be over there. You just have to walk over and then pick me up to bring me over to the couch that's gonna be... over there. There's s little red mark on the floor right now, you'll see", she summarized quickly. Travis noticed how much she was in work mode and it was kind of cool to watch. Even more than it was from next to the stage. "Sorry, am I too quick?", she mumbled when she realized that she wasn't talking to professional dancers only. "No, I'm good", he shook his head.
"You lay down, we just go through it? We'll lead the way", Kam suggested to Taylor. "Yeah", she agreed and went over to her spot. "One without acting? Just walking and concentrating on the way?!", Jan yelled over a moment later. They got a thumbs-up from her, so they got into position. Travis found his spot in the middle of the others on the stage part that would bring them up later. "Now just walk, walk, walk. Try to hold a tempo. You'll probably get in-ears later, I don't know. Either way, just follow us", Jan told him. "No problem", Travis agreed. "One, two, there, four!", Kam counted them in loud enough for Taylor to hear. She lay on the floor looking over at them. The three walked up to her at roughly the needed tempo and Travis picked her up with a little help from Taylor. Then he stood up a little complicatedly and followed Kam and Jan to where the couch would be. It was surprisingly far away but he didn't let it show.
"Okay, good for now. You know the way?", Taylor asked standing on her feet again. "Yes, ma'am", he smiled a little about her tone. But she just smiled back. She was in charge here and it was nice to know that, if he needed to, he could let her lead. "I want one full walkthrough with music", Taylor said. "Yeah and maybe it would work better if we pick you up for Travis? It's easier to stand up for us sharing your weight than for him. As light as you are", Kam suggested a little half-serious in the end. Taylor looked at Travis asking him for his opinion that way. "Could be easier, yes. We can just try that", he agreed. So they started over. This time in full performance mode and from under the stage. Tree wasn't too happy that they needed to practice with music and stage involvement because a few more people were involved that way too. But it was better than to mess up later. Kam counted the beat loud enough for Travis to hear and gave him a little signal before they went up. The two dancers were acting as if a crowd was around and it felt a bit strange to Travis but he tried.
This time, Kam and Jan picked Taylor up placing her perfectly in Travis's arms while she pretended to be dead. He tried his best to contain his laughter about the situation but Taylor seemed to have no problem with that. Still, the couch marker was a good few feet away but they made it safely. When he put her down, he thought they were done but the other three acted their scene out completely and he quickly jumped in trying to not seem completely off next to them. Taylor then walked away and turned around after a few steps. "Nice! That's almost it! You gotta get something to do but I'll think of something. Lunch break?", she said excitedly. Travis was surprised that this seemed to be all the practice he would get. But ultimately, they had figured it out, so he didn't want to hold them back from lunch. He nodded just as Kam and Jan did and they went backstage together with Tree. "That was good", the publicist smiled at Travis happy for Taylor that he did this with her. "Thank you", he chuckled. "I'm thinking you could maybe get a make-up brush and paint my face when the others do my quick change with me?", Taylor suggested. "Yeah, why not", he agreed. So it was set.
