After Travis' stage debut, her team surprised them with a party at their hotel. They wanted to welcome him as a part of the crew now that he had been on stage with Taylor. She didn't even know about this, which had her annoyed when Tree told her to come to the hotel with them. But now the couple held each other shocked by the great gesture. "Thank you all so much! This means a lot to me!", he told them as loud as he could and the others started cheering for him. Taylor almost started crying at how all these people, her tour family, wanted Travis to be a real part of this. For a moment she remembered how everyone pretty much ignored Joe during her last tour if he ever showed up. But she forgot about her ex quickly, when Travis hugged her tightly with everyone still looking at them.
"Thank you so much", he mumbled. "I didn't know they'd do this", she told him. "But you let me join you. You are the reason I'm here now after messing around on a huge stage in an even bigger stadium. You are the reason that I got to know all these awesome people", he said emotionally. Now she didn't know what to say anymore, especially because some of her people were still watching even though some others had opted for drinks at this point. But she didn't need to say anything. Travis kissed her shortly before pulling her over to the bar. "And I thought we'd get to have a night just for us", she giggled when he gave her the drink. "A shame", he chuckled and pulled her to his side before jokingly slapping her butt. Taylor laughed and pushed him away playfully.
So they all celebrated together for a good few hours. But they also had just played a three-hour show, so especially the dancers were tired a little sooner than usual. "Hey, baby. Tired?", Travis found Taylor after the guys he had been talking to had said their goodbyes. "Hm? Noo", she mumbled obviously trying to hide a yawn. "Okay but let me get you a water, okay?", he suggested sensing that she was already more drunk than she had planned for. "You're so cute", she told him caressing his cheek making him chuckle. She let him drag her to the bar though, so he ordered some water for her. "That's boring", she pushed the glass away. "Tay, you'll thank me tomorrow. Just drink it", he said. "What if I don't?", she grinned at him. Travis sighed and decided to use her drunk state and the fact that she wouldn't understand that this was a joke.
So he simply turned around and walked away slowly. Taylor was just as baffled by that as he had thought and gulped down the water before running after him. "Trav, sorry, I didn't mean to...", she said reaching for his arm to hold him back. He turned around and took her hand. "Gotcha", he grinned. Her eyes widened. "Mean! You tricked me!", she tried to take her hand back but he instead pulled her into a short kiss. "Nothing that's not for your own good", he smiled and kissed her again before she could protest. "Let's get you home now, hm?", he tried again. "Do you want to have sex?", she asked giggling. Travis laughed at that. "Let's go home and then we'll see, hm?", he suggested knowing that she'd probably fall asleep in the car anyway. "You're so hot", she didn't seem to even listen to what he was saying anymore. "Thank you, Allie. C'mon now", he chuckled and gently pulled her along.
Just as he had thought, Taylor fell asleep pretty much as soon as the car's engine started roaring. Travis just rested his arm around her shoulders and his head on top of hers. He wasn't sober either and tired as well. Today had been nerve-wracking and he was glad that his stage debut went well. He almost fell asleep too but before he could, they reached her house and entered the garage. When he sat up again, Taylor slowly woke up too. "Should I carry you?", he asked tiredly. But she shook her head after wiping her eyes. "I can walk", she mumbled. Her head hurt and she felt sweaty. The effect of the alcohol had worn off a little bit at this point. Travis nodded and got out of the car with a loud sigh. Taylor slowly got out too and concentrated on slowly putting one foot in front of another making her way inside. Travis closed the door behind her nodding to her security who stayed in a guest house connected to the garage from the other side.
The couple slowly and silently followed their nighttime routine and then finally went to bed. "Thank you for today, Allie", Travis mumbled pulling her close. Taylor answered something he didn't understand and soon they both drifted off to sleep. Travis dreamed of being in more different parts of Taylor's tour and going to all of her practices for choreography and everything. In his dreams, he actually was a pretty good dancer. Taylor woke up when the sun was barely starting to rise because Travis moved around a lot. She sighed trying to fall asleep again but his constant turning didn't help. "Ouch", she mumbled when his knee hit her back. Turning to him again she tried to figure out if he had a bad dream because it was unusual for him to move that much but he didn't seem tense at all.
She was tired and really wanted to sleep more but she didn't want to wake him if he seemed okay. At least her head didn't hurt anymore. The water he had given her seemed to have been a good idea. What she didn't notice was how far he had pushed her to the edge of the bed and when he next moved, she slipped right down to the floor with a little screech. This woke Travis. "Tay? Taylor, are you okay?", he asked confused after not finding her in the bed next to himself. She sat up and put the light on the nightstand on with a sigh. "What are you doing down there?", he asked with a little chuckle. "You literally pushed me out of the bed", she said annoyed. She fell on her arm and had to check on it twice to be sure it just hurt a little bit. "Shit, really? I'm so sorry. How? I never... Are you okay?", Travis immediately switched to apologizing and caring. Taylor got back into bed with a nod. "You were moving around constantly", she explained while he pulled her into a hug and kissed her head. "Sorry. I think I dreamed of being one of your dancers", Travis explained.
Taylor needed a moment to understand what he had said simply because she was tired. But then she giggled and kissed him softly. "So you were training", she smiled. "I guess so", he shrugged and reached over her to put the lights out again. "Let's try to sleep some more, hm? And if I push you out of bed again, wake me up and make me take the guest room", she said. "Good night", she just answered already drifting off to sleep again. He followed her soon and they both got a couple more hours of sleep.
