The day after the election, Taylor made her way to New York to meet some friends and drink the memories of Trump getting reelected away. Travis decided to meet with some friends at home. Maybe play some billiards or darts in the basement. He knew that some of his friends might have voted for the man he didn't even want to talk about today. So he noted in his invitation message that the topic of politics was taboo for the night. While he got through work obligations, a few of his friends accepted the invitation and he ordered food and drinks.

"Outfit check call?", Taylor texted when she was getting ready for her night. Travis immediately called her via FaceTime. "Hey, baby", he smiled already missing her. "Hey, Trav. I just wanted to continue the habit of showing you my outfit first", she smiled placing her phone on the table so she could step back a little. "I like that habit!", he winked and took her look in before whistling through the call. Taylor giggled and came back to the camera blushing a little. "Are you already drinking, Taylor?", he asked playfully scolding. "Just a little", she showed him the champagne flute taking a little sip. "Be careful, okay?", he asked a little worried. He knew how much the election had hit her. He had seen it with his own eyes. And maybe he wasn't quite comfortable knowing that she had unlimited access to alcohol and planned on using that tonight. She just rolled her eyes.

"Tay, I mean it! Please be safe", he repeated more seriously. "It's just my friends and security is around the whole time, Trav. But I need to lose myself tonight. It's just... necessary", she answered knowing full well that she would regret it the next day either way. "Text me when you get home, okay?", he still asked. "You know what? For your sleep and my safety, I'll share my location with you until we speak again, okay? Does that calm your nerves?", she suggested understanding his worries. "You don't have to... but yes, a little at least", he admitted. "Okay. And I'll call you tomorrow as soon as I'm... able to", she assured him. "Thanks. I miss you, baby", he sighed. "I miss you too. Maybe I'll drunk-call you later", she smiled. "I invited some friends over too but I'll have an eye on my phone", he explained. "Okay, then have a good night too, and... you be safe as well!", she told him. "I will. Love you. Have a good night and shake that pretty ass", he joked when she stepped away just enough for him to see her outfit again. "Oh, you know I will!", Taylor giggled. "Talk tomorrow! Love you too!", she added before they ended the call.

They ended up texting back and forth throughout the evening between dancing, talking, and playing games with friends. He had a few beers while playing darts but he still noticed how Taylor's texts got more and more confusing. She was most likely pretty drunk when his friends left later in the night. "Baby, go get some water", he texted while cleaning up some bottles and glasses. "Juat for yu", she answered with a picture of herself and a glass of clear liquid that he hoped was actually water. "I'm going to bed now but my phone is on for you", he answered on his way upstairs. "Muah", she wrote back making him chuckle. That was probably meant to sound like a kiss? He found it cute. Before he put the lights out, he quickly took a last look at her location. Still at the bar. Taking a deep breath, he put the phone down and turned the lights out. He needed to trust her with this tonight. But that she planned to "lose herself" made him uneasy. She had been bawling her eyes out after Trump's win was announced and a day later she planned to get drunk.

smut ahead

Early in the morning, Travis woke up from his phone ringing. Taylor. Was she still up or already up again? He quickly sat up in his bed and picked up. He got a shaky FaceTime view of her in her bed. At least she made it home. "Tay", he let her know that he had picked up. "Urgh, I wish you were here", she slurred drunkenly. He could barely make out what was going on. It was fairly dark and her hand holding the phone shook the camera almost every second. "Are you okay?", he just asked. "Fuck... mhhh... I wish this was you", she mumbled and when a moan clung through the phone, he started to realize. One of her hands seemed to be down her body. He chuckled a little. Did she really call him while touching herself? She was pretty drunk and apparently, that had made her horny. "Tay, you should sleep", he told her a little uncomfortable in the situation. It was so early. For both of them. "With you, yeah", she sighed more moans leaving her mouth. "Oh... oh god... fuck, Trav", she bubbled seemingly getting closer to her release. He thought about ending the call or trying to stop her but why? She wasn't hurting herself, she wasn't saying anything wrong. A few high-pitched, rhythmic moans echoed through her bedroom. "So close", she cried letting the phone fall down to use her second hand too. Travis could only see her ceiling now but he could still notice how the bed was shaking. "Let go, baby", he sighed and his deep morning voice was it for her. She trembled over the edge.

"Tay?", he asked after a few seconds of silence. She sighed and turned over before picking up the phone. "You should go to the bathroom, hm? Clean up a little? Make-up as well. And have some water", he said. She just let out an annoyed sound. "C'mon, I'll be on the phone with you", he encouraged her and ended up getting her through the whole process. He even had her place painkillers on her bedside table before she went to bed again. "Now sleep as long as you need to, hm? Call me when you're up?", he asked. "Sure", she mumbled already half-asleep. "Good night, Allie. I love you" he told her. She mumbled something he couldn't understand but then they ended the call. It was late enough for Travis to get up already but he decided to nap for another half-hour before starting the day.

This story is going to end soon because my head is just not in the right place to write a longer continuous story at the moment and I don't want the quality to get worse.
Hope you guys understand and I would be happy to find your comments and votes in my new book! 🫶
I will find a good ending for this story, so it will continue for a few more weeks.
