A day later, Taylor and Travis met with Blake and Ryan for dinner in New York. They had arrived around noon and went out later. Taylor noticed that Travis didn't take a single drop of alcohol and she felt a little guilty knowing that he usually liked to have a wine or beer for dinner. "You can drink, you know that right?", she asked him when he ordered another alcohol-free drink. "I had enough for a few days, I think", he answered a little embarrassed because the other couple listened too. But Taylor had told Blake about what had happened before they had planned the dinner date. Only Ryan looked at Taylor confused. "I freaked out when he was hungover yesterday. Had a little flashback moment I guess", she admitted giving him the short version of the story. Travis took her hand under the table reassuringly.

Ryan just nodded. "I'm sorry", Travis mumbled. "No, it's not on you. We know what happened, we talked it through, I'm good now", she told him honestly making the others smile a little. They were close friends, it wasn't new that Taylor told them things like that but Travis' reaction seemed genuine and understanding. They were happy about that. "I'll stick with this tonight anyway", Travis said when his drink was sat down for him.

They talked for a few more hours laughing and joking. Travis liked the other couple a lot. They were one of the first people he had met out of Taylor's close circle and he quickly understood why they were this close. But there was another thing today. Blake seemed a little bit different. Travis didn't pay much attention to it not knowing her long enough to really notice but Taylor did. She couldn't quite put her finger on it but something was off. Blake didn't seem sad though. Nor mad. It was something else. But Taylor didn't feel like it was the time and place to ask her about it. If she had wanted to, she would've said something. So maybe she didn't want to have Ryan or Travis hear it? Whatever it was, Taylor decided to ask her via text when they'd get home.

Both men later helped their women up from the chair and into their coats like the gentlemen they were. Blake and Taylor looked at each other and couldn't hold back a little giggle. They knew they were lucky. Travis' hand found Taylor's quickly and he intertwined their finders for the walk outside and to the car. A few paps had found them but it wasn't a big deal in New York. They were nice here usually and so they were on their way home quickly. "Did you notice, Blake was weird?", Taylor asked in the car. "No... why?", Travis wanted to know surprised. But Taylor shrugged. "I don't know. Something was off", she said. "I'll text her again", she added taking out her phone. Travis tiredly put his head down on her shoulder making her chuckle. "I can't carry you to bed", she told him. Travis sighed.

"Just wake me up then", he mumbled kissing her cheek before closing his eyes for the drive home. Taylor carefully crafted a text for Blake to ask her what was wrong without seeming too worried or too nosy. She wasn't sure why Blake didn't tell her, so she assumed there was a reason and didn't want to annoy her in case that would make things worse. When she was happy with her message, she hit send and just in time they arrived at her place. Travis had fallen asleep on her shoulder. "Baby, you gotta wake up", she nudged him awake gently. He mumbled something not understandable but sat up slowly. "Everything good with Blake?", he asked when he woke up a little more. Taylor shrugged. "Still waiting for an answer", she told him before they made their way inside.

The text conversation is going to be a little on the smutty topy, just so you know.

Taylor didn't necessarily expect an answer today, so the couple went to bed. Just when she put the lights out, her phone buzzed next to her. Blake had texted. Travis thought so and decided to wait before pulling Taylor closer as he usually would. He watched her lips form a big grin before she started laughing. "What?", he asked smiling with her. "I don't think I can tell you", she said still chuckling. He took that as a challenge and threw himself onto her before taking the phone making her shriek and laugh harder. "Trav! Stop!", she laughed trying to fight him helplessly. But he turned the phone around and read Blake's message. Taylor didn't seem too serious about it. He immediately started barking laughs out as well. "I can't believe she pulled that off", Taylor chuckled now that he knew anyway. "The world works differently for you. I didn't even know this was a thing", he admitted. "What? Love balls or uterus mussel training?", Taylor asked truly interested. "Well... I mean, I never thought about... those mussels and... birth stuff. I did know about the balls", he told her with flushed cheeks. "Of course you did", Taylor laughed about the way he said it.

"It's not that uncommon to train these mussels against bladder weakness and stuff like that. I read that before too", she explained. Blake had apparently not only read that but had wanted to try it. Not because of a weak bladder in particular but still. And she had also texted Taylor that when she found herself at that dinner, the love balls fulfilled more of their second purpose as a sex toy making her pretty horny. That had ultimately been why Taylor thought she had acted strangely. "I... guess it makes sense", Travis just said. He hadn't expected to read that kind of stuff when he had decided to get the phone from her. "You can not ever let anyone know that you saw this text", Taylor told him after quickly typing an answer for Blake who was a little embarrassed because it had been obvious. She put the phone down and cuddled up to Travis. "My lips are sealed", he assured her and kissed her shortly.

"Does Blake know that I fingered you at a party before?", he asked curiously into the darkness of the bedroom. Taylor froze at the mention of it and shook her head. "I was too embarrassed to tell anyone", she admitted. "Why embarrassed?", he wanted to know surprised. She had wanted it. In fact, she had asked for it in words. "Not embarrassed... but like... I want this to be our secret. It's not that I never talk about these things with close friends but... I don't know, it felt different", she tried to explain. "Because they were around maybe? Like... it would be a little like pulling them into our... games... without asking", he had a feeling. "Maybe... yeah, a little", she yawned. "But love balls are an interesting idea. I'll keep that in mind", he joked before pulling the blanket higher. Taylor giggled not too opposed to the idea though. "Good night, Trav. I love you too", she mumbled. He kissed her head one more time. "Good night, Allie", he whispered before they finally closed their eyes.

This was written before the drama in the Blake universe happened. I do not know much about what happened and do not want to comment further on that.
Also, I found it funny to have a chapter called "Balls"  so I just had to XD
