On their way to Rhode Island, Travis and Taylor talked a little about the day before again. "I think I was overwhelmed by thoughts after talking about Vienna again and when I told you I had been sitting there the whole day, I felt bad for that and didn't know how you'd react", she explained. After a good night's sleep, Taylor felt better and she wanted to talk about it, wanted him to understand where she was coming from. "I was worried when you told me. As much as I understand that you've got a lot to process, you haven't had any food or water the whole day and it honestly seemed like you wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't come home", he said tracing patterns on her arm.

"I know it's weird", she mumbled. "Tay... it is but I'm sure you don't choose to do that. You don't need to feel bad for it", he answered. It really wasn't normal to not move for a day and not notice it but Travis didn't want to make her feel worse. He was glad she wanted to talk to him and wanted to show her that he wouldn't judge her. "I just... I know it's not normal but I don't know how to handle it because I don't notice it. And then I feel like I haven't gotten anything done that day. Also, like... my mind is mistreating my body? Cause I just don't realize that I am hungry or anything", she felt more comfortable to at least try and put it into words. "I'm just guessing here and I'm not trying to teach you anything about yourself or whatever but maybe... it could be that you really needed an actual break? You had a lot of plans that morning and probably you just needed to take a day off of everything", Travis suggested. Taylor nodded slowly while thinking about his words. "I'm glad you told me not to invite Brit. Maybe I would've had a full-on breakdown if I had to handle a guest", she admitted honestly. "Well... I just wanted you to take your time. I know, you want to make as much as you can out of your time between the concerts but sometimes you do need a break. And I do too. It's not that I handle it better between games", he told her and kissed her head softly.

"I just wish I had more time for friends and family but... people are a lot sometimes", she said leaning more against him comfortably. He chuckled but nodded to that. "They are. When the others come to your Holiday House, you tell me if you need a break, okay? Then you just take your time and I handle the people", he said. "Thank you. You're never too much", she smiled looking up at him with those bright blue eyes he got lost in immediately. "I love you", he told her before leaning down for a kiss. "I love you too", she smiled. And cuddled into him again for the rest of the journey.

Arriving at Taylor's Holliday House in Rhode Island, the couple ordered some food and went to bed after dinner. Tomorrow, the first guests would be there around noon and they wanted to get up early enough and prepare some food. Travis was still not entirely convinced that it was a good idea for Taylor to be around a good bunch of people for the next few days when she truly needed a break. But he also understood that she wanted to spend time with family and friends whenever she could. So, he wanted to support her wherever needed over the next few days.

They had a quick breakfast together and then Taylor instructed Travis to prepare a cake while she was preparing another one. By noon, they had a few cakes and groceries for lunch and dinner. Blake and Ryan with their girls were the first ones to arrive and Taylor and Blake immediately started rambling to each other about everything that was going on. The guys haven't met often yet but found topics to talk about quickly. Taylor loved how easily Travis had blended in with her friends. He didn't have any reservations or got intimidated by the public figures next to the private people they were. She never once had to initiate a conversation with someone else for him. The realization that Joe had always depended on her in these social situations had come recently and she didn't even judge him for it. Taylor had days like that too, where she was glad to let Travis do the social work. It was just different in a way that also made it a little easier for her to hang with friends because she didn't need to worry about Travis.
