"And today we will make dinner, you go and rest", Blake told Taylor in the afternoon. They had been playing with the kids or chatting with their parents, their friends, all day and Taylor was honestly tired. But that they all decided to give her a break touched her a little. Everyone was smiling at her and seemingly had agreed to help with dinner. Even Travis seemed to know about this. "And the kids?", she asked. "We've got that. Just go now. Sleep some more or just chill", Jason smiled. "And if you dare to work, Tay, I swear", Travis mock-threatened her making her chuckle. She would lie if she said that she didn't at least think about checking her emails. "Okay. Thank you guys, really. You don't have to do this", she finally agreed. "We want to", Selena explained and so Taylor went upstairs fighting her FOMO about leaving the group.

When she closed the bedroom door, she realized how good the silence felt. She lay down with a sigh and pulled the weighted blanket over her body complicatedly. A soft smile on her lips, she closed her eyes and just relaxed and let her mind go foggy with thoughts. But she didn't even try to catch one and just let herself forget about everything around. She must've fallen asleep because the next thing she noticed was Travis kissing her forehead. She smiled inevitably and looked up at him with sleepy eyes. "Dinner is ready", he smiled and gestured to a little tray he brought with two plates of food, two glasses, and a bottle of wine. "We can sit with the others", Taylor said confused while slowly sitting up in bed. "We can. Or... we make ourselves a cozy evening right here in bed. Drink some wine, eat, cuddle, and just talk", he suggested. Taylor thought about her options for a moment and as much as she loved sitting with her friends, they still had the next day and evening left, and a cozy night sounded very good. "Now they cooked for us and we're not even sitting with them", she said insecurely. "Kylie's idea. And especially all these romantic women down there had a thousand ideas of how I could make this better. I hope you don't mind that I didn't bring roses, candles, and dessert", he explained with a soft smile. Taylor chuckled and finally agreed to stay upstairs.

The couple forgot about their guests pretty quickly. They just got lost in each other. It was almost like one of their first dates. The only difference was how much better they knew each other by now. When the plates were emptied, they put their tray aside and cuddled together. "Do you remember when I wrote the first song about us and you woke up?", she asked. "Are you really asking me if I remember the first time we kissed?", he chuckled and hugged her tightly. She shrugged. "I still remember how safe I felt when we talked and you held me", she said silently making him smile. "I'm happy we worked out", he agreed kissing her head softly. "You've been patient with me. And not just in the beginnings", she said. "You're worth it", Travis shrugged and he had no idea how much this meant to her. Taylor giggled because she didn't know how else to cope with the feeling these few words brought up. That made Travis chuckle too and he bent down to kiss her.

They sat in silence for a bit and after a while, Travis noticed that Taylor had fallen asleep again. He shook his head about her because she had had a long nap earlier and still fell asleep already but he couldn't blame her. It was still not long after her last shows. "Sleep well, Allie", he whispered and gently lay her down next to him, so he could pull a blanket over her. His hand rested on her head and his fingers continued to comb through her hair while he decided to answer the texts he had received since this morning when he last checked his phone. When it was time, he went to bed too and carefully pulled her into his spoon for the night.

In the early hours of the next morning, Taylor woke up again. She knew it was technically too early to get up but she had slept so much the day before and tonight that her body forced her out of bed. Very carefully, she swapped herself out for a pillow Travis could hug. Then she tiptoed to the bathroom and later downstairs. Secretly, she liked the early mornings. The calmness of the sleeping world around her. After enjoying a cup of tea, Taylor decided to use the time to prepare breakfast. She made some cinnamon rolls and cut a fruit salad while they were in the oven. Taylor also found time to prepare scrambled eggs and some guacamole. By the time she heard the first steps in the rooms above her, the table was set, and even some freshly made orange juice had found its place beside coffee, tea, and water.

"Oh, wow, since when are you up?", Ryan asked when he came down with his youngest daughter in his arms. "I slept too much yesterday", Taylor shrugged and sat down with them. It didn't take long until the table was full. Only Travis seemed to still be asleep. And because he was still not there when the kids were already done eating and starting to run around, Taylor decided to go and wake him up. "And don't you dare clean everything up without me! You already prepared dinner yesterday. That was amazing by the way, thank you!", she said while standing up. "Oh, you invited us for a vacation basically. We won't let you do all the work", Blake commented and everyone agreed. Taylor rolled her eyes playfully and went upstairs then.

"Good morning my dear", she whispered after kissing Travis awake with a grin. "What time is it?", he asked tiredly while blinking a few times. "Almost noon. I've been up for seven hours almost", she told him. Confused he sat up and pulled her back to bed and into his lap making her giggle. "Why are you up that early? And why didn't you wake me up for breakfast?", he asked still sounding pretty sleepy. "I had too much sleep yesterday to sleep through the night", she shrugged. "And you just look so cute when you sleep. I couldn't", she added excitedly. He found it funny how much more awake she was than him. Her whole attitude was energetic. "Guess I have to keep you up longer today so our sleeping rhythm is in sync again", he whispered hugging her closer and making her blush. "Maybe", she mumbled.

"Did you leave some food for me?", he asked after kissing her cheek. "Hm... so there are cinnamon rolls", she began and he already jumped up placed her on her feet, and almost ran downstairs. Taylor followed him chuckling. She knew how to get him by now and cinnamon rolls were her best trick. At the table, Travis frowned a little when he noticed that there were no two chairs empty that stood next to each other. With a sigh, he sat down next to Jason watching Taylor get into a conversation with the other women. He had missed her when she had been in Europe. More than ever because he had known that she hadn't been doing well. The events around Vienna had been dangerous and of course, he had been scared that something would happen to her. Just now, it clicked that she was back and also doing way better than just a few days ago. That made him smile subconsciously every time he glanced over at her.
