While Taylor took on more shows in the US, Travis had a side quest. He wanted to plan a party for after her tour. Probably also as a birthday party. He wanted to invite all of their friends and family and just make it as big as possible. It took him a few days, but then he came up with planning a mini eras tour party. Travis texted a few close friends of hers. The ones he had a phone number of. And of course, he got nothing but big yeses and even a few ideas that sparked his imagination. Over the next few days, next to training, he went through every single era and wrote down ideas. Then he thought about all of the traditions and ways to use them and last but not least, he went over general party stuff like drinks and how to make these things eras themed. The more he came up with, the more he texted her friends about it. Selena at some point asked if he wanted her to get a small group of friends to help plan and organize and he agreed.

Group chats were established and video calls were organized. Taylor was luckily occupied by her work enough to not notice anything. "You've got the business squad now, we'll take care! Just don't even think about it, then you won't spill anything!", Selena told Travis on the phone before it was time for Taylor to make a quick visit home before leaving for the Canada shows. "But if anything goes wrong", he started but got interrupted: "Then we'll take care and you won't even notice. Don't underestimate us", she warned. "Okay!", he laughed. "I just... wanna make it perfect", he added a little silent. Selena smiled to herself. She had noticed how much this meant to him. It was hard not to after hearing him talk about all of his ideas with so much passion and then the worry about how to make it happen. "It will be and I know for a fact that Tay won't believe that it's even happening until like three days later", she assured him. "We'll see", he shrugged. "You will. Now get it out of your head before she arrives", Selena ordered. "Yes, M'am. Have a great day", he chuckled about her rough tone before they soon hung up.

To his own surprise, Travis managed to pretty much forget about his plans as soon as Taylor arrived. They only had a few days before she would already have to leave for Canada and preparations for the first show there. One of those days was Thanksgiving and one was a Game Day for Travis. "Mhhh... I missed you", she mumbled into his hug. "I missed you too. But I saw you rock that stage again. That must be fun too", he smiled not letting go just yet. "It is!", she agreed and was about to start rambling about everything that happened on the road over the past few days. But Travis stopped her with a kiss.
"You should rest your voice", he told her and she knew he was right. She wasn't really supposed to talk much today. "I know it sucks, I would love to hear all of the stories and everything but let's do that tomorrow, hm?", he saw her sad eyes and kissed her head again. "Let's just cuddle and watch some show", he suggested and gently pulled her over to the couch. "I have to show you a new song tomorrow", she said on the way over still annoyed that she couldn't do it today. "I'm excited to listen. Tomorrow", he smiled while he pretty much tucked her in on the couch. "Should I get you some tea?", he asked. She shook her head and held her hands out for him. "Cuddles", she demanded, her voice breaking before she had to cough a few times. "I'll get tea", he chuckled. She looked at him annoyed. "I'll hurry", he promised.

He did hurry and was back soon with her favorite tea and some cookies. As soon as he sat down, Taylor almost went to sit in his lap. As if she was afraid that he would get up again. "I'm here now, baby", he chuckled and pressed her against his chest for a moment. "Love you", she whispered. "I love you too", he answered before reaching for the remote only to give it to her then. She was surprised he let her decide without a discussion but just grinned and started her new favorite trashy rom-com. He didn't complain. He didn't even let out a sigh. Travis was just happy that they got two days together and didn't care at all about what exactly they'd end up doing. And Taylor fell asleep after only a few minutes because Travis' warmth was just so relaxing and after the last few days filled with tour buzz, she was tired.
