After spending a few more days in Dublin, Taylor, Travis, and everyone else made their way to Amsterdam. They arrived a day before the first show but most of them just went to their rooms immediately. "You know a lot of Germans come here because weed is allowed here?", Travis mentioned. He was scrolling on his phone for a while now while Taylor worked on the table across the room. She looked at him trying to find out why he had said that. "So?", she decided to just ask. "I was just looking up some facts about Amsterdam", he shrugged. "Do you smoke? Like weed? On parties?", she decided to take the moment now that he had brought it up. After two boyfriends who, one more one less, did smoke, she just wanted to know. "I got kicked out of college because I had a positive drug test. That teached me a lesson. I have had very few nights after that but not ever near the season", he explained.

"What about you? You've got a lot of friends even I have seen kind of high on parties but either you play it off well or you haven't joined them when I was there too", he smiled. "Well... It has to be a very private party but even if it is... You know, it's kind of a gamble for me because I either get high like everyone else and just have a good time or I have panic attacks. So... it's not never either but very rarely", she admitted honestly. "Whoa, okay good to know", Travis said. "I'm surprised that you still do it sometimes", he added. "Me too", Taylor chuckled. "Can we agree on giving each other a heads-up if we do it at a party we're on together?", she asked. "Yeah, sure! I'd have an eye on you then", he agreed immediately. Taylor smiled at him with a small nod.

"Next fact please", she then asked willing to switch the topic. "Of course", he smiled and scrolled through some things on his phone again. "Let's see", he mumbled. "Oh, this one's something for you: There's a houseboat just for cats. Since 1968 there's been a boat for stray cats to live on", he summarized the article for her. "How many cats are on there? Can people visit it? Does someone take care of them?", Taylor immediately had a hundred questions making Travis laugh. "Give me a minute, I'm not the quickest reader", he admitted a little embarrassed in front of the best poet of our time. But she just smiled and waited patiently for him to read through the article. "Okay, so it seems like there are some people taking care but they live from donations. You can visit them but you need a reservation", he answered some of her questions. Taylor sighed. "It's so cute. Can you send me a link? Maybe I'll get a donation going", she said. "Sure, baby. You miss your three children, don't you?", he assumed. Taylor just sighed again and nodded looking back at her laptop.

It was a little embarrassing to miss three animals like that. Even if they were pets. Travis quickly sent the link and then got up to walk over to her. "You're home soon, hm. I'm sure they miss you too", he tried to soothe her a bit putting his hands on her shoulders and starting to massage her a little. Taylor smiled at his sweet gesture. He took her emotions seriously and didn't call her childish. "And until then: Meow", he joked imitating a high-pitched cat sound making her laugh. "Trav", she chuckled shaking her head. "When are you done working? I wanna cuddle you", he asked. She looked up at him with a grin. "Meow", he added making her laugh again. "Wait over there, kitty, I'll be done soon", she joked with a wink and gestured towards the bed. "Did I just give myself a very embarrassing nickname?", he asked while walking back to where he had come from. Her giggle made him smile despite the nickname. "Maybe", she shrugged and smiled at him one last time before finishing her work.

The two spent the rest of the day cuddling and relaxing before going to bed. The next day was show day for Taylor and they had to get up a little earlier so they could make a sound check and prepare everything else. Travis answered some texts and emails when he had the time to but for the most part, he just watched her and took care of her serving water and food during breaks. Taylor loved to have him around because she knew that he wasn't just there to wait until she had time for only him again. He had fun doing this too. The show itself went well too. The energy was up and everyone had fun. Travis was watching from the stands today but Taylor could still make out a tall figure in the distance if she had some time to look for him.

Somewhere during Karma, she couldn't find him anymore which meant that he was going to pick her up at the stage again. She was torn between wanting to extend the outro forever and running off stage to her boyfriend. She made it into his arms eventually and he picked her up spinning her around once before letting her feet touch the ground again. Taylor giggled holding onto him tightly. "You were incredible!", he told her after a kiss and she still just giggled connecting their lips again. Walking out of the stage area, the fans spotted them immediately, and Travis hyped her up just like he had done in Dublin making Taylor shake her head about him. But her wide smile was proof of how much she loved it even though she had to save him from running into a sign that was set up on the floor.

Travis laughed and put an arm around her again kissing her head. He secretly loved how her fans reacted to them when he was goofing around or kissing her. He had seen a lot of videos and comments on it and he honestly had to be careful to not let his ego grow too much about it. They always made it seem like he was perfect and noone ever had done anything like it for her but he was sure that Taylor had received big gestures in private and even more sure about the fact that noone was perfect. On the other hand, Taylor sometimes beamed at him in a way that truly showed him that the bar men had set before him had been way too low for how gorgeous of a person she was. And he unconsciously had made himself the challenge to put this bar so high noone would ever be able to top it. At least not for Taylor.
