when he saw his mother standing at the doorway, watching them with a mixture of surprise and amusement.

Mom: (with a playful tone) "Good morning, Tae. I see you've brought home our daughter-in-law."

Tae's face flushed with embarrassment, his mind scrambling for an explanation. Before he could say anything, his father peeked from behind his mother, a wide grin on his face.

Dad: (smirking) "Well, well, this is quite the surprise. Why didn't you tell us, son?"

The sound of their voices stirred Hana from her sleep. She slowly opened her eyes, blinking in confusion as she took in the sight of Tae's parents standing at the door. Realizing the situation, she quickly sat up and then scrambled out of bed, her cheeks turning a deep shade of red.

Hana: (stammering) "I-I'm so sorry... I didn't mean to..."

Tae, still reeling from his parents' sudden appearance, finally found his voice.

Tae: (nervously) "Mom, Dad, this isn't what it looks like..."

But his mother wasn't having it. She stepped into the room, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

Mom: "Oh, come on, Tae. We're not that old-fashioned. You don't have to be shy about it."

His father chuckled, clearly enjoying Tae's discomfort.

Dad: "We're just happy you finally brought someone home. We were starting to worry you'd never settle down."

Tae glanced at Hana, who looked utterly mortified, and quickly tried to diffuse the situation.

Tae: "No, really, it's not like that! Hana is just a friend... she needed a place to stay, and I offered to help. That's all."

His mother raised an eyebrow, clearly not buying it.

Mom: (teasing) "A friend, huh? And this friend just happens to be sleeping in your bed?"

Hana, still blushing furiously, tried to explain.

Hana: "I-I was supposed to sleep on the couch, but..... I mean, it's not what you think..."

Mom: (laughing) "Relax, dear. We're just teasing. You don't need to explain. But really, Tae, you should have introduced us sooner."

Tae could feel the heat rising in his face, but he knew there was no escaping his parents' teasing.

Tae: (sighing) "Alright, alright, you've had your fun. Can we just... move past this?"

His mother grinned and turned to leave, but not before giving Hana a warm smile.

Mom: "We're glad to meet you, Hana. I'm sure we'll have plenty of time to get to know each other. Now, you two get dressed and come down for breakfast.

"His father gave Tae a playful wink before following his wife out of the room.

Dad: "Don't take too long, son."

As soon as they were out of earshot, Tae let out a long breath, his embarrassment slowly fading.

Tae: (rubbing the back of his neck) "I'm really sorry about that, Hana.

"Hana, still a little flustered, managed a small smile.

Hana: "It's okay... I just wasn't expecting them to... well, you know."

They stood there for a moment, the awkwardness hanging in the air, until Hana broke the silence.

Hana: (softly) "Your parents seem really nice."

Tae: (smiling) "They are. It's a little too nice sometimes.

"Hana laughed, the tension finally easing.

Hana: "Well, I guess we should go down for breakfast before they come back up."

Tae: (nodding) "Yeah, let's go before they get any more ideas."

As they headed downstairs, the lingering awkwardness gave way to a growing sense of comfort.

Despite the embarrassing encounter, Tae couldn't help but feel a bit of warmth in the way his parents had accepted Hana so easily.

At the breakfast table, Tae's mother couldn't resist stirring the pot a little.

Mom: (teasing) "So, when did you two fall in love?"

Hana, caught completely off guard, choked on her food. Tae's father quickly handed her a glass of water, which she gratefully accepted, still coughing slightly.

Tae: (groaning) "Mom, please, it's not like that."

Mom: (feigning surprise) "Oh? You mean you haven't proposed to her yet?"

Tae: (flustered) "No, I didn't..."

His mother's mischievous grin only widened.

Mom: (playfully) "So, you're planning to?"

Tae: (exasperated) "Mom, I didn't mean it like that!"

Tae's father, amused by the whole situation, decided to step in, but not without adding his own touch.

Dad: (grinning) "Now, now, don't tease the boy too much. He's just taking things slowly, right, my son?"

Hana, who had finally recovered from her coughing fit, was now blushing furiously, her cheeks turning a deep shade of red. She tried to hide her embarrassment by looking down at her plate, but it was impossible to miss.

Mom: (genuinely) "Hana, you're beautiful, and I have to say, I really like you for my son."

Dad: (chuckling) "Alright, that's enough. Look at her. Her cheeks are already as red as a tomato. Don't tease them too much."

Mom: (more serious now) "Alright, I'll stop. But really, you two make a lovely pair."

Tae, still trying to shake off his embarrassment, quickly changed the subject.

Tae: (clearing his throat) "We should probably get going soon to grandparents' home."

His parents exchanged a knowing look, but they didn't push it further.

Dad: "Good, just be back in time for dinner."

Mom: (with a wink) "And don't keep us waiting too long."

As they prepared to leave, Tae's mother stepped forward and wrapped Hana in a warm, comforting hug.

Hana was momentarily taken aback by the gesture, but she quickly relaxed into the embrace. The warmth and tenderness of the hug stirred something deep within her, and before she knew it, tears welled up in her eyes.

Mom: (noticing) "What's wrong, Hana? Why are you crying?"

Hana hesitated for a moment, trying to find the right words. She took a deep breath and finally spoke, her voice trembling slightly.
