The dorm was quiet that evening, with golden light from the setting sun spilling through the windows and bathing everything in a soft, comforting glow. It was the kind of peace that came after a long day of schedules, fan calls, and rehearsals—the kind that made even the air feel gentle.

In one corner of the living room, nestled beneath a blanket fort constructed from couch cushions, bedsheets, and careful love, Sunghoon lay curled up on a nest of fluffy pillows. He had a pacifier resting gently between his lips and his fingers wrapped tightly around his beloved stuffed penguin, the one Heeseung won for him at a festival months ago.

Sunghoon's world felt small right now. Not in a bad way—no, it was safe. Everything outside the soft glow of the fairy lights draped over the fort walls didn't matter here. In this space, in his littlespace, he didn't have to be Sunghoon the performer, or the idol, or the perfectionist. He just got to be Hoonie—their little one.

"Jungwon hyung, where's Hoonie's juice box?" Sunoo asked as he tiptoed around the kitchen, his voice low and sweet, almost like he was talking to a sleepy kitten.

Jungwon opened the fridge and pulled out a small pink juice box with a cartoon bunny on the front. "Grape or apple?"

"Apple," came a sleepy murmur from inside the fort.

"Apple it is," Jungwon smiled, kneeling beside the blankets and gently peeking in. "Hi, baby Hoon. You comfy?"

Sunghoon nodded, his expression dazed but peaceful. He rubbed his eyes with the sleeve of his oversized sweater—Jake's, actually, but he always wore it when he regressed. It smelled like home.

"Tank you..." he mumbled softly when Sunoo passed him the juice box with a silly bendy straw poking out the top.

The members were so used to this now. It had taken time—understanding littlespace didn't come overnight. But when Sunghoon first opened up about it, trusting them with something so vulnerable, the others took it seriously. Not because they felt obligated, but because they loved him. Every version of him.

Heeseung was the first one who'd ever seen Sunghoon in littlespace. It had happened accidentally—Sunghoon had regressed in secret during a particularly stressful week. Heeseung walked in, saw the pacifier in his mouth and the trembling in his shoulders, and instead of asking questions, he sat beside him and held his hand.

That night changed everything.

Since then, the members built routines. Jungwon was "big brother" mode to the core—he made sure Sunghoon's regression space was respected. Jake played the goofball, bringing little toys and sticker books back from convenience store runs. Ni-Ki even programmed the smart lights to turn warm yellow in Sunghoon's room when he wanted to regress, so no one would turn them on too bright by accident.

And Sunoo?

Sunoo was the heart.

He was always the one to sit with Sunghoon during long regressions. He'd read to him, sing softly, or just sit and hold him if words weren't needed. Their bond deepened in those moments, unspoken but deeply understood.

Tonight, Sunghoon had slipped into littlespace without a word. It had been a rough practice—too many corrections, not enough praise. His chest had tightened by the time they got back, and before he even knew it, the walls were closing in. But as soon as he clutched his penguin plushie and crawled under the fort Sunoo had lovingly prepared earlier "just in case," he felt the storm inside start to ease.
