It was one of those cosy evenings at Ant's flat, the kind where the world outside faded away, leaving only the warmth of friendship and the flickering light of the television. Ant and Dec had spent the day curled up on the sofa, wrapped in blankets, diving into a marathon of classic comedies. With the curtains drawn and the popcorn bowl nestled between them, they were in their own little world.
As the credits rolled on yet another film, Dec turned to face Ant, who was leaning back against the cushions, a contented smile gracing his lips. In that moment, Dec felt a surge of affection wash over him. He loved these lazy afternoons with Ant, filled with laughter and easy conversation. But tonight, he wanted to add a little mischief to the mix.
Dec leaned in closer, brushing his lips against Ant's cheek in a gentle kiss. "You're such a cuddle bug, Ant," he teased, his voice soft and playful. The warmth of Dec's breath sent a shiver down Ant's spine, and he instinctively flushed, the heat rising to his cheeks.
"Stop it, you," Ant chuckled, swatting playfully at Dec's arm, but there was no real irritation in his tone-only a hint of bashfulness. Dec loved this reaction, and it only fuelled his desire to tease his best friend further.
With a sly grin, Dec cupped Ant's cheeks in his hands, his thumbs gently brushing over Ant's lips. "Look at you, all flustered. It's adorable," he said, leaning in for another sweet kiss, this time landing softly on Ant's lips. Ant's eyes widened for a moment before he melted into the kiss, a warmth spreading through his chest.
Dec could hardly contain his laughter, a melodic sound that made Ant's heart race even faster. "You're so easy to tease," Dec said, settling back against the cushions, a victorious glint in his eye. He wrapped an arm around Ant's shoulders, pulling him closer, their bodies fitting together perfectly.
"Yeah, yeah, I know," Ant replied, though the playful exasperation in his voice was tempered by a smile. He rested his head against Dec's shoulder, feeling safe and cherished. Dec took the opportunity to plant more gentle kisses along the curve of Ant's neck, relishing in the way Ant shivered and squirmed, his laughter bubbling up uncontrollably.
"Stop, you're making me ticklish!" Ant protested, though his laughter told Dec he was far from upset. "You're incorrigible, you know that?"
"Incorrigible? Nah, just love-able," Dec shot back, a smirk dancing on his lips. "Plus, it's just so much fun to see you blush like that. You look cute."
The warmth of Dec's words made Ant's heart flutter even more. "You're the worst," he mumbled, though he couldn't hide the grin spreading across his face.
"Maybe just a little," Dec replied, nuzzling closer and pressing a gentle kiss to Ant's forehead. He adored the way Ant leaned into his touch, how he radiated warmth and affection in return. It felt effortless to show his love this way-through soft kisses, gentle hugs, and the sweet nicknames that slipped from his lips without a second thought.
"Cuddle bug," Dec murmured, relishing the way Ant's cheeks flared with colour again. He couldn't get enough of the way Ant reacted-his best friend was so expressive, and Dec found himself utterly addicted to it.
"Seriously, Dec..." Ant began, but Dec cut him off with another kiss, this one lingering a moment longer. Ant melted into it, his eyes fluttering shut as he surrendered to the softness of the moment.
After pulling away, Dec leaned his forehead against Ant's, their breaths mingling in the cosy space between them. "You know I just want you to know how much you mean to me, right?"
Ant's expression softened, the teasing atmosphere shifting into something deeper. "I do," he whispered, warmth flooding his heart. "And I appreciate it. I really do."
"Good," Dec replied, his voice barely above a whisper. "Because you're my best friend, and I love you."
With that, Dec pressed another gentle kiss to Ant's lips, feeling the electricity of their connection. Ant responded eagerly, his hands finding Dec's waist as they sank deeper into each other.
The rest of the world could wait; for now, it was just the two of them, lost in the sweetness of the moment and the tender affection that filled the air between them. Dec knew he'd never tire of this-of teasing Ant, of cherishing him in all the little ways that made their friendship so special. It was a bond forged in love, laughter, and the undeniable comfort of knowing they were always there for one another.
