Ant pulled into Dec's driveway, surprised to see Stephen's car already parked there. He chuckled to himself, guessing they must have been deep in conversation without him. As he walked up to Dec's door, an idea crossed his mind, and a mischievous grin crept onto his face.
He let himself in, heading straight for the lounge where he found Dec and Stephen sitting close, chatting away, their laughter filling the room. They looked up as he entered, smiling warmly, but Ant gave them a playful pout, his hands on his hips.
"Well, look at you two!" he teased with a mock-hurt expression. "Why am I always left out, eh? None of you want me around anymore."
Stephen and Dec exchanged a glance before bursting into laughter. Ant's exaggerated pout, combined with the way he threw himself dramatically onto the couch beside them, was impossible to take seriously.
"Oh, come on, mate," Dec said, grinning. "We were just waiting for you to make it a proper party!"
Ant rolled his eyes with a huff, still pretending to be offended, though he couldn't hide the little smile tugging at his lips. "Yeah, yeah, I see how it is. Guess I'll just have to make myself comfortable, then."
With that, he plopped down between them, wrapping an arm around each of their shoulders, pulling them close into a snug group hug. They laughed, leaning into him, the three of them now a tight bundle of warmth on the sofa.
Stephen nudged Ant playfully. "Oh, you poor thing. We'll just have to give you extra attention to make up for it, won't we, Dec?"
Dec chuckled, patting Ant on the back. "Guess we don't want you feeling neglected, Ant."
They spent the next hour or so just enjoying each other's company. They reminisced about funny on-set moments, swapped stories from their most memorable trips, and even gossiped a bit about who'd messed up the most lines recently. Each laugh brought them closer, their bond like a comforting blanket wrapped around the three of them.
At one point, Ant leaned his head on Stephen's shoulder, giving him a squeeze. "You know, lads," he said, his voice softer now, "I'm really lucky to have you both. Don't know what I'd do without you."
Stephen and Dec looked at each other, their smiles warm. Dec reached over and gave Ant's knee a friendly pat. "Right back at you, mate."
They stayed curled up together, soaking in the peacefulness of the moment. No work, no worries-just laughter, closeness, and the joy of being with friends who felt like family.
