It was a quiet evening at Ant and Dec's flat. The three of them had just finished dinner, and Stephen was sitting comfortably on the sofa, sipping on a warm cup of tea. Ant and Dec were standing opposite each other in the kitchen, bickering over something as silly as always: who loved Stephen more.

"I'm telling you, Dec," Ant said with a dramatic flourish, "I was the one who got him that custom leather jacket, the one that fits him like a glove. You know, the one he wears everywhere? That's love. I'm practically his personal stylist!"

"Ha! That's cute, Ant, but remember who booked us that trip to the cabin last summer," Dec countered, crossing his arms with a smug smile. "You know, the one where we spent the whole weekend playing board games, making him his favourite breakfast every morning, and I even built him a pillow fort. That's love. That's real love."

Stephen chuckled softly from the couch, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "You guys are ridiculous."

Ant turned to him with a playful grin. "I'm just saying, I put a lot of thought into that jacket. It's practically a symbol of my devotion."

Dec raised an eyebrow, stepping closer. "Oh yeah? And remember when I spent hours planning that surprise date at the beach? We watched the sunset, had ice cream, and I even serenaded him with that cheesy love song. It doesn't get more romantic than that, does it, Stephen?"

Stephen grinned, clearly enjoying the teasing. "You've both done so many sweet things, I can't even keep track."

"Exactly!" Ant chimed in. "And it's clear that my efforts were the most thoughtful, so I think it's only right he acknowledges that I love him more."

Dec laughed, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "No way, mate. It's obvious I've been the one showing him all the affection, the care, and the romance. Not to mention, I did that cute little thing where I called him my 'precious baby' the other day. That was a total keeper."

Stephen rolled his eyes playfully at them both. "Okay, okay. So who's right then? How about I make the decision?"

Ant and Dec turned to him in unison, their faces full of mock seriousness. "Yes, Stephen, we need you to choose," Dec said, sitting down beside him on the couch. "It's your decision who loves you more."

Stephen smirked, crossing his arms dramatically. "Well, in that case..." He paused for effect. "I choose... Dec."

Ant gasped in mock horror, his mouth falling open. "What?! You can't be serious!" He flopped dramatically to the floor, clutching his chest. "Unloved... unwanted... I might as well just leave!" He huffed, pulling his knees to his chest as though he were about to spiral into a full-on meltdown.

Dec, still smiling, pulled Stephen into his lap with ease, hugging him tightly. "I win!" he said triumphantly, kissing the top of Stephen's head.

Stephen chuckled, resting comfortably in Dec's lap. "Sorry, Ant. You'll just have to try harder next time."

Ant sat up, faking a sniffle. "Oh, poor me. How could you do this to me, Stephen? After all we've been through?!" His voice was thick with playful drama, making both Stephen and Dec burst out laughing.

Dec leaned over and kissed Stephen's forehead, then gave Ant a teasing look. "Well, you know, it's not about who loves him more. We all love him equally. But..." He paused and winked at Stephen, "I just happen to be his favourite."

"Not for long," Ant grumbled, though his eyes were shining with affection.

Stephen giggled and moved to sit in between them, pulling both of them into a tight cuddle. "You both love me, and that's what matters. Now, stop arguing and just cuddle me already."

Ant's fake sulk melted away as he wrapped his arm around Stephen, pulling him close. "Fine, fine. I guess you're right." He planted a kiss on Stephen's cheek, then turned to Dec. "But I'm still the one who bought him that jacket."

"And I'm the one who made him feel special on that beach," Dec retorted with a soft chuckle, leaning in to kiss Stephen's forehead.

They settled into a comfortable silence, their arms around each other. The warmth of the moment felt perfect as the three of them relaxed, sharing a simple yet deeply meaningful connection. As they snuggled together, they whispered sweet things to one another, peppering each other with kisses, completely content with their little family, surrounded by love.

"Love you both," Stephen murmured softly, his voice thick with affection.

"We love you more," Ant and Dec replied in unison, their voices full of warmth and joy, sealing their words with a kiss on Stephen's cheek.

And in that moment, nothing else mattered. It was just the three of them, wrapped in love and laughter, savouring the simple joy of being together.
