Ant settled into his armchair, grinning as he watched Liliana twirl around his living room, singing to the music streaming softly from his speaker. He'd met her in rehab-a lively, bright soul with a voice that could fill any space, even a sterile clinic. They'd become fast friends, helping each other get through the rough days, and it felt great to have her around now, with both of them in a better place.

"Come on, Ant, join me!" Liliana called out, laughing as she did a little shimmy.

Ant chuckled, shaking his head. "Nah, I'm good watching you make a fool of yourself!"

"Suit yourself," she teased, launching into the chorus of an old pop song, her voice so clear it felt like a concert in his living room.

The door opened quietly, and Dec stepped in, holding his phone with an email pulled up. He'd planned to surprise Ant, but now he found himself stopping in his tracks at the sight before him. Liliana was singing with such energy, and Ant was sitting back, watching her with a huge smile plastered on his face.

Dec's grin spread as he watched his best friend relax in such joyful company. He knocked lightly on the door frame to announce himself, causing Ant and Liliana to turn.

"Dec!" Ant exclaimed, standing to greet him. "Didn't expect you yet, mate!"

"Thought I'd come by early," Dec said, his eyes moving curiously to Liliana. Ant quickly stepped forward to make introductions.

"Dec, this is Liliana. Lil, this is Dec."

Liliana extended her hand, eyes bright with a friendly sparkle. "It's so nice to meet you! Ant's told me so much about you."

"All good, I hope?" Dec laughed, shaking her hand.

Liliana winked. "Mostly." She tossed Ant a playful smirk, earning a chuckle from him.

Over the next few hours, they all sat around, sharing stories and falling easily into laughter. Liliana was full of wit and charisma, and Dec found himself quickly warming to her. She told him about her music career and how she and Ant had bonded during their time in rehab. At one point, Liliana even playfully tossed a handful of popcorn at Dec, which he pretended to be shocked by, clutching his heart.

"Oi! Is that how you treat your friends?" Dec laughed, trying to catch a piece in his mouth as it fell.

Liliana smirked, leaning back. "Only the ones I like. Ant here has gotten more than his fair share of popcorn attacks already."

"Hey, don't drag me into this!" Ant protested, hands up in mock surrender, but he was grinning, clearly enjoying the banter between them.

As the hours passed, Liliana grew comfortable enough to share some personal memories, both from her life on tour and her journey through recovery. She looked over at Dec thoughtfully, her expression softening.

"I can see why Ant talks about you so much," she said gently. "He's always saying how you're like family to him. After spending time with you both, I get it."

Dec, moved, reached over to give her hand a gentle squeeze. "Well, anyone who's there for Ant is family to me too."

"Hey, I'm not the only one who talks about Dec, you're the one who's been an Ant and Dec fan since 2002," Ant teased with a soft smirk on his face.

"Shut up you, no one asked," Liliana joked causing Dec to burst out laughing.

Ant, watching the exchange, felt a surge of gratitude for both his best friend and the new connection he'd made. There was a peaceful silence as they all shared a quiet understanding, the warmth of the moment settling comfortably in the room.

Later, as the evening was winding down, Liliana pulled out her phone and scrolled through her playlist. "I know it's getting late, but one last song?"

Dec chuckled, leaning back. "Go on, then. Ant and I are always up for a good tune."

Liliana started up a gentle ballad, her voice soft and soothing as she swayed to the music. She caught Ant's eye, giving him a reassuring smile. Dec watched them, his heart warm with pride for his friend, happy to see Ant so content.

When she finished, they clapped, and Dec reached over to pull her into a quick hug. "You're something special, Lil. Thanks for today."

As Liliana finally got ready to leave, she hugged them both, lingering with a warm smile. "You two take care of each other," she said softly, giving them each a look that held gratitude and understanding.

After she left, Ant and Dec returned to the sofa, where Dec's expression turned thoughtful as he looked over at his best friend.

"She's great, Ant," Dec said warmly, nudging him. "Good to see you smiling like that again."

"Yeah, she's really brought out the best in me," Ant admitted with a small smile. "Feels good to have her in my life."

Dec gave his shoulder a gentle squeeze. "Glad you've got friends like her. Speaking of which," he held up his phone, "we've got that email from Takeaway. Shall we dive in?"

Ant nodded, shifting into work mode, but the warmth of the evening lingered, filling him with a renewed sense of gratitude for the people in his life, both old and new.
