It was a quiet evening, and Ant, Dec, and Stephen were sprawled across the couch in Ant's living room, relaxing after a long day. Stephen was wedged between the two, feeling the warmth of their friendly embrace. As the show they were watching went to commercial, Dec, with a glint in his eye, suddenly nudged Stephen and looked over at Ant.
"Stephen, be honest," Dec said, smirking. "You like me best, don't you?"
Ant gasped dramatically, pulling Stephen closer. "Oi! Stephen's obviously my favourite! Aren't you, mate?" He planted a playful kiss on Stephen's cheek, holding him protectively.
Stephen burst out laughing as both Ant and Dec leaned in on him, playfully kissing his cheeks and ruffling his hair. He could feel their warmth, their banter wrapping him up in a cocoon of love and laughter.
"Hmm..." Stephen said, pretending to consider, a mischievous glint in his eyes. He glanced over at Dec. "I think... Dec might be my favourite."
Ant's jaw dropped as he pulled away, giving an exaggerated pout. "Oh, is that how it is?" he said, folding his arms. "After all we've been through, Stephen?"
Stephen and Dec looked at each other, barely containing their laughter, before bursting out in giggles. Stephen decided to go all in, leaning back against Dec with a content sigh. "Sorry, Ant. I just think Dec's got something extra, y'know?"
"Oh, this is betrayal!" Ant whined, putting on his best hurt expression. "I thought I was your favourite cuddle buddy!"
"Aw, come here, ya big softy!" Dec teased, gesturing for Ant to join them. Stephen extended his arm out to Ant, his laughter dying down into a warm smile.
But Ant didn't budge. He kept up the pout, crossing his arms and looking away with a little humph, as if deeply offended.
"Oh, come on," Dec laughed, reaching out and pulling Ant into a hug, causing Ant to laugh despite himself as Dec gave him a playful, affectionate squeeze. Stephen joined in, wrapping his arms around Ant from the other side. They practically tackled him with their embrace, nearly tipping the three of them over on the couch.
"Alright, alright!" Ant chuckled, struggling to keep up the pout as Stephen peppered him with playful cheek kisses. "You're just lucky I love you two."
Finally giving in, Ant wrapped his arms around both of them, pulling them close. There they stayed, a tangle of laughter, warmth, and kisses, feeling like nothing else in the world mattered as long as they had each other.
