It was a rare, precious day off for Ant and Dec, and they had decided it was the perfect opportunity to surprise their dear friend, Stephen. After months of hectic filming schedules, late nights, and endless rehearsals, the chance to spend a quiet day together felt like a gift. They wanted to do something truly special-something that would bring a smile to Stephen's face and remind him how deeply they cared for him. So, they came up with a plan: show up unannounced, with no agenda other than to shower him with love and remind him how important he was to them.

As they stood outside Stephen's front door, a mischievous excitement buzzed between them. Ant gave Dec a knowing smile before reaching into his pocket to pull out the spare key to Stephen's house. They had been friends for years now, and while their bond had always been strong, there were moments like this-simple yet profound-that reminded them how lucky they were to have each other. Quietly, Ant unlocked the door, and the two of them crept inside, trying their best to be stealthy.

However, it wasn't long before they heard it-the unmistakable sound of Stephen's voice, soaring effortlessly through the house, filling every corner with melody. He was singing "Defying Gravity" from Wicked in perfect harmony with the karaoke track. The energy in the room shifted instantly, and both men froze, grinning at the unexpected concert happening right under their noses. Stephen's voice was as clear and powerful as ever, and he was clearly lost in the music, every note poured from his soul.

As they stood in the doorway, Ant and Dec couldn't help but watch in awe. The kitchen was warm, filled with the scent of something baking in the oven, a sign that Stephen was not only sharing his talents through song but also spreading love through his cooking. His movements were fluid as he mixed the batter, completely immersed in the song's lyrics. Ant could barely contain his laughter as he watched Stephen belt out the high notes with such passion.

Unable to resist, Ant pulled out his phone, quietly snapping a picture of Stephen mid-performance. He couldn't help but capture the pure concentration and emotion on Stephen's face. With a cheeky grin, Ant sent the photo to Stephen, along with a playful caption: "Looking good, darling."

Stephen, still in the midst of his karaoke performance, didn't even flinch when his phone buzzed. But when he saw the message, his voice wavered ever so slightly, the surprise evident in his expression. He quickly turned toward the door, his face breaking into a grin. "You two!" he said, laughing as he finished mixing the batter. "You couldn't even let me have my moment, could you?"

Dec and Ant exchanged knowing glances, both stifling their chuckles, but they couldn't resist teasing their friend a little more. As the song finished, Stephen turned to Alexa, who obediently stopped the music at his command. He slid the cake into the oven, standing up, only to be immediately enveloped in a tight hug from both Ant and Dec. The surprise had been a success, but now it was time for the real moment-the one where they made sure Stephen knew just how much he meant to them.

"You know we love you, right?" Dec said softly, squeezing him tightly.

Ant followed, pressing a kiss to the top of Stephen's head. "Of course you're listening to musicals," he teased. "You're a bloody star, mate."

Stephen let out a laugh, his arms instinctively wrapping around both of them, pulling them closer. "I can't believe you caught me," he said, his voice filled with mock embarrassment, though his heart was swelling with affection. "I thought I was alone, just in my own little world."

"You're never alone with us," Ant said with a wink, his words playful but full of meaning as he still held Stephen close.

"Seriously though," Dec added, stepping back just enough to look Stephen directly in the eyes. "You're incredibly talented. You need to hear it more often. We're so proud of you, and we love you more than you'll ever know."

The sincerity in Dec's voice struck a chord with Stephen, who blinked rapidly as his eyes welled up with emotion. These were the words he needed to hear, the kind of reassurance that could light up even the darkest days. In the silence that followed, Stephen could only stand there, overwhelmed by the depth of their affection for him. He wanted to respond, but words seemed inadequate, so instead, he pulled them both into another hug, tighter this time, as though trying to convey his gratitude with the simple act of holding them.

"I love you too," he murmured, his voice thick with emotion. "You two are honestly the best people I know."

Ant chuckled softly, rubbing Stephen's back. "Better get used to us showing up at your house randomly, mate," he joked. "We've got to make sure you know just how special you are."

Stephen laughed again, shaking his head in disbelief. "You're both too much, you know that?" His voice was filled with affection, and yet there was still a hint of laughter mixed in.

"Better too much than not enough," Dec quipped, the playful grin on his face lighting up the room. "Now, what's for dessert? We've got a cake to eat, and we're starving."

Stephen smiled brightly, his heart lighter than it had been in days. "You're unbelievable," he said, laughing as he moved toward the oven, the bond between them palpable in the air. "Alright, you want cake? You got it."

As they stood around the kitchen, the three of them shared jokes and laughter, all the while Stephen felt his heart fill with a warmth that only friends who truly care for you could provide. The cake could wait, the world outside could wait-this moment, right here, was the one that mattered.
