Stephen hadn't planned to interrupt Ant and Dec's work, but today the heaviness pressing on his heart was too much to bear alone. After pacing around his own flat, he realised he didn't want to sit with the feeling in solitude. It was late afternoon, and he knew his friends would likely still be working, but he needed the comfort they provided-their warmth, their gentle understanding. Taking a deep breath, he headed up to their office, feeling a touch of anxiety about disturbing them but trusting that they would understand.

He knocked softly on the door, his heart beating a bit faster. Dec's voice came through, warm and inviting as ever, "Come in!"

As Stephen pushed open the door and stepped in, both Ant and Dec looked up from their scripts. They saw it right away-the dimness in his expression, the faint strain in his eyes. Dec immediately put down his pen, his face softening. "Hey, Stevie," he murmured, a note of concern in his voice. "Everything alright?"

Stephen swallowed, managing a small nod before admitting, "Not really." His voice was low, almost apologetic.

In an instant, Dec was by his side, wrapping him in a warm hug. He pressed a gentle kiss to Stephen's cheek, his hand rubbing soothing circles on his back. "It's okay, love," he whispered. "We're here, yeah?"

Ant joined them, his arms encircling both Stephen and Dec, pulling them in close. He pressed a tender kiss to Stephen's temple, giving him a squeeze. "We're not going anywhere, mate. You're safe with us."

Stephen could feel himself letting go of the tension that had built up, his shoulders easing as the warmth of their embrace surrounded him. They led him over to the sofa, keeping him between them as they sat down. Dec still held him close, resting his hand in Stephen's hair, brushing his fingers through it in slow, calming strokes. Ant's arm was around Stephen's shoulders, and he gave him a gentle pat on the back, keeping him close.

For a while, they just sat there in a comfortable silence, the lads offering quiet affection. Dec's hand stayed in Stephen's hair, gently brushing back stray strands, occasionally pressing soft kisses to his cheek and temple. Ant's arm was solid around him, giving Stephen a sense of security, and he too dropped light, affectionate kisses on Stephen's other cheek.

Stephen's eyes grew heavy, lulled by their steady breathing and the way they held him. Dec's hand rubbed gentle circles on his back, his voice a soft murmur. "Close your eyes, love. We're right here."

Stephen let out a quiet sigh, feeling entirely at ease. He let his head rest on Dec's shoulder, with Ant leaning his head gently against Stephen's. Before he knew it, he'd drifted off to sleep, cocooned in their embrace, feeling cherished and safe.

As they worked quietly, Dec would occasionally glance down at Stephen's sleeping face, a small smile tugging at his lips. He exchanged a fond look with Ant, who whispered, "I love that lad. He deserves the world, doesn't he?"

Dec nodded, running a gentle hand down Stephen's arm. "More than he knows," he replied softly, giving Stephen a light kiss on the forehead before they returned to their work.

A few hours later, Stephen stirred, slowly opening his eyes. He blinked, taking in his surroundings, feeling that comforting warmth still wrapped around him. Dec noticed he was awake and gave him a soft smile, pressing a gentle kiss to his forehead.

"Hey there, sleepyhead," Dec whispered, his voice full of warmth. "You feeling a bit better?"

Stephen nodded, managing a small smile as he sat up. "Yeah, a lot better. Thanks, Dec."

Dec placed a hand on his cheek, his thumb brushing lightly across Stephen's skin. "You know we love you, right? Always. Doesn't matter what's going on-you're family to us."

Before Stephen could respond, Ant reentered the room, balancing three boxes of fish and chips. "Look who's up!" he grinned, setting the boxes down on the coffee table. He knelt beside Stephen, giving him a light, playful kiss on the cheek. "Brought you something to eat, mate. Figured you'd be hungry by now."

Stephen chuckled, his heart feeling lighter. "You both really didn't have to go to all this trouble for me."

Ant shook his head, nudging him gently. "Course we did. We love you, Stevie. You're too important to us to let you feel down on your own." He reached over, placing a soft kiss on Stephen's forehead. "Don't ever doubt that, alright?"

Stephen smiled, feeling the depth of their affection in every word, every touch. "Thank you," he said quietly, his heart swelling with gratitude. "I really needed this."

They all dug into their food, laughter and lighthearted conversation filling the room. Ant and Dec continued to pepper Stephen with gentle touches-a squeeze of his hand here, a playful nudge there, keeping him surrounded by their love and support. And as they ate, Stephen felt a profound sense of warmth and gratitude settle over him.

He didn't feel alone, not with Ant and Dec by his side, reminding him that he was loved, cherished, and always safe with them.
