Ant and Dec had a friendship woven with quiet gestures and easy affection, the sort of bond that thrived on small acts of love and constant reassurance. They were both aware of each other's habits and moods, often without saying a word. Each day was filled with moments that showed how deeply they cared for one another, even in the simplest of actions.

One crisp morning, Ant was lounging on his couch, caught up in a lively conversation with Stephen, their laughter filling the room. They were mid-laugh, reminiscing over old misadventures, when Dec suddenly appeared in the doorway, arms crossed, his expression a playful mix of patience and something close to demand.

"Oi, Ant!" Dec called, an eyebrow raised. "Get over here. Now."

Ant exchanged a quick glance with Stephen, a glint of mischief in his eyes. "Looks like I'm needed," he chuckled, putting on a mock-serious tone. "You make a run for it, I'll distract him."

Stephen grinned, shaking his head in amusement, but Ant was already on his feet, strolling over to Dec. The second he got close enough, Dec wrapped his arms around him in a firm, grounding embrace. Ant let out a soft laugh, feeling the warmth of Dec's hold, a touch that was both familiar and comforting.

Dec held him close, his voice dropping to a quiet murmur. "I love you, you know?" he said, his tone warm and sincere. "And don't you dare forget it."

Ant felt a wave of affection wash over him, his own arms wrapping tightly around Dec in response. "I know, Dec," he replied, smiling as he rested his chin on Dec's shoulder. "I love you too. Always."

They stayed like that for a few moments longer, neither in a rush to let go, savouring the closeness that had become their second nature. When they finally pulled apart, they shared a glance that spoke of years of friendship and an unbreakable bond.

As the day wore on, these tender exchanges continued in the small ways that made their friendship so unique. When Dec noticed Ant deeply focused on a script at his desk, he quietly slipped into the kitchen, making him a coffee just the way he liked it-strong, with a splash of milk and just the right amount of sugar. He padded back, gently setting the mug beside Ant, who looked up with a smile.

"Cheers, Dec," Ant said, his eyes soft with gratitude.

A little while later, Ant returned the favour. He found Dec on the couch, poring over notes for an upcoming segment. Without a word, Ant disappeared into the kitchen, returning with a plate of Dec's favourite biscuits and setting it gently in his lap.

Dec looked up, his face lighting up as he took one and smiled up at Ant. "You always know what I need, don't you?"

Ant just shrugged, a playful grin tugging at his lips. "Comes with the territory."

As the afternoon drifted on, they shared more quiet moments, little kisses on the cheek, a hand resting comfortably on each other's shoulders as they moved about the room. When they settled down to watch a film with Stephen in the evening, Ant leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to Dec's cheek, lingering just a second longer than usual. Dec turned, meeting Ant's gaze, his eyes warm and affectionate, a gentle smile playing at the corners of his mouth.

Between scenes, Dec would nudge Ant playfully, reaching over to fix a stray curl in his hair or pat his shoulder, their closeness never feeling forced or routine. At one point, Dec tilted his head to rest it on Ant's shoulder, his arm draped lazily around him, their breathing in sync as the movie played on.

When the film ended, Dec glanced at the clock and then over at Ant, a faint smile tugging at his lips. "Tea?"

Ant's eyes lit up, and he nodded, following Dec into the kitchen. They moved around each other easily, Dec reaching for the kettle while Ant grabbed their favourite mugs. As they waited for the water to boil, Dec brushed a hand over Ant's back, a comforting touch that said more than words ever could.

In the quiet of the kitchen, with the warmth of tea in their hands and soft glances exchanged, they stood together, each sip and small gesture a reminder that they'd always be there for one another. It was in these moments-each tender look, soft touch, and shared laugh-that they felt the depth of their friendship, as unbreakable and essential as the air they breathed.
