t was one of those rare, breezy afternoons off, and Stephen was on his way to meet Ant and Dec at a café near the studio. He had barely walked through the door when Ant waved him over, a broad smile lighting up his face. Dec stood up as Stephen approached, pulling him into a warm hug.

"Hey, there he is!" Dec exclaimed, patting Stephen's back. "We missed you, mate. Been too long."

Stephen laughed, rolling his eyes. "It's been all of three days."

"Exactly!" Ant said, grinning. "Way too long."

They sat together, chatting over coffee and sandwiches, catching up as though they hadn't just seen each other earlier in the week. The laughter was endless, filling the cosy café and catching the attention of a few onlookers. Ant and Dec noticed Stephen checking his phone often, glancing at the empty spot on his wrist with a frustrated sigh each time.

"Something wrong, mate?" Ant asked, looking over with concern.

"Yeah, my watch stopped working yesterday," Stephen explained, tilting his wrist to show the watch face, now frozen at 3:15. "Can't get it fixed until next week. I didn't realise how much I relied on it until now."

Dec exchanged a quick look with Ant, a silent agreement passing between them. They resumed their coffee, keeping the plan to themselves.

A few days later, Ant and Dec invited Stephen over to Ant's place for a movie night. The three of them settled on the couch, blankets thrown over them, with bowls of popcorn in their laps. Ant waited for the right moment, nudging Dec when Stephen wasn't looking.

"Hey, Stevie," Dec said softly, reaching into his bag and pulling out a small, neatly wrapped box. "Got something for you."

Stephen's eyes widened in surprise, glancing from Dec to Ant. "You didn't have to get me anything!"

"Maybe we didn't have to," Ant replied, chuckling, "but we wanted to."

Stephen took the box, carefully unwrapping the paper to reveal a beautiful, sleek new watch. He ran his fingers over the watch face, his expression softening as he looked up at his friends. "Guys... you didn't have to replace it. This is... wow."

"Of course we did," Dec said, smiling warmly. "Couldn't have you checking your phone every two minutes. We'd rather see your handsome face, not the top of your head."

Stephen chuckled, his cheeks warming. "Thank you, really. It's perfect."

"Only the best for our Stevie," Ant said, wrapping an arm around Stephen's shoulders and giving him a quick squeeze.

As the movie rolled on, Stephen's new watch glinted softly in the light, and every so often, he found himself glancing at it with a fond smile.

Over the next week, Ant and Dec seemed to go out of their way to make Stephen feel cared for, always bringing little things they thought he'd enjoy. One evening, after a particularly exhausting rehearsal, Stephen found a bottle of his favourite iced tea waiting for him in the dressing room. The next day, they handed him a book he'd mentioned months ago.

"How do you two remember all these things?" Stephen asked, half-amused, half-touched.

Ant grinned. "We're just that good, mate."

Dec patted Stephen on the back. "Nah, we just know you well, and we want to make sure you know how much we love having you around."

One night, after a busy day, the three of them sat together in Dec's living room, eating takeout and swapping stories. Ant handed Stephen a small bag with his favourite sweets tucked inside, his face lighting up as he tore open the bag.

"We just want you to know how much we appreciate you," Ant said softly, meeting Stephen's eyes. "You're not just our friend, you're like family."

Stephen felt his throat tighten as he looked between them, grateful for their presence and the small gestures that made him feel seen, cared for, and loved.

"Thanks, you two. For everything," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

"No need to thank us, Stevie," Dec replied, giving him a gentle nudge. "Just let us keep spoiling you."

As the night wound down, Stephen lay back on the couch, a contented smile on his face. His watch ticked quietly on his wrist, a reminder of the love and care that surrounded him. And for once, he felt perfectly at home, wrapped up in the warmth of his "big brothers," knowing he was cherished beyond words.
