It was a chilly Saturday afternoon, and Ant and Dec were plotting a surprise for their friend Stephen. They had decided, on a whim, to pay him a visit, knowing how much he appreciated their spontaneous company. With a plan in mind, they hopped into the car and drove to Stephen's house, excited for a little surprise.

As they approached his street, they noticed something unusual-there was music coming from inside. It wasn't just any music, but a catchy tune that made both of them smile in recognition. They exchanged a curious glance, exchanging a silent question: What was Stephen up to?

They crept closer to the front door, quietly sneaking around the side of the house. It wasn't until they reached the kitchen window that they heard it more clearly-"Dead Girl Walking," from Heathers. They exchanged a grin. It seemed like Stephen was in good company. Ant and Dec peeked through the window and saw Stephen perched on the counter, smiling and singing with a woman they didn't recognise. She was laughing, clearly enjoying the moment, her voice harmonising beautifully with his.

Both of them stood there for a moment, watching in amusement as they sang along to the familiar tune. The smell of freshly baked cookies wafted through the air, making their stomachs growl in hunger. The woman beside Stephen, with her light brown hair tied back in a messy bun, looked up at him with a grin that only grew wider with every note.

Ant nudged Dec with a playful grin. "Shall we join in?"

"I think we've got a better idea," Dec whispered, his eyes gleaming mischievously.

They both leaned against the door frame, and with a dramatic flourish, they burst out into applause, startling both Stephen and the woman. Stephen whipped his head around, wide-eyed and slightly startled. He blinked for a moment, registering who had entered. "What-what are you two doing here?" he stammered, half in shock, half in amusement.

Ant and Dec chuckled, stepping into the kitchen. "Surprise!" they said in unison.

Stephen rolled his eyes but couldn't suppress his grin. "You couldn't have picked a worse time to show up," he teased, hopping down from the counter and making his way toward them for a big hug. "But I'm glad you're here."

"This is Sapphire," Stephen said as he pulled back from the hug, his eyes sparkling with warmth. "Sapphire, these are my best mates, Ant and Dec."

Sapphire smiled warmly, holding out her hand. "Nice to meet you both," she said with a friendly smile. "Stephen's told me a lot about you."

"Good things, I hope?" Dec grinned, shaking her hand.

"Of course," Sapphire replied with a playful wink.

The three men settled around the kitchen table as the warmth of freshly baked cookies filled the room. Stephen grabbed a plate of cookies and passed it around. They were soft and gooey, the chocolate chips melting perfectly with every bite. The smell alone had been enough to make their mouths water, but now that they had them in hand, they couldn't stop eating.

They chatted easily, laughter filling the air. Stephen was his usual, charismatic self, teasing both Ant and Dec about their lack of baking skills. "You'd be lucky if you didn't burn the house down," he joked.

Ant chuckled, raising an eyebrow. "You've got some nerve, kiddo."

As they sat there, the conversation flowed effortlessly. Sapphire shared stories about her recent travels, and the group found themselves laughing and bonding over the little things in life. But time, as it always does when you're having fun, seemed to slip away quickly. Before long, it was time for Sapphire to go.

"Thank you for letting me crash your hangout," Sapphire said with a smile, standing up from the table. "This was fun."

"It was lovely meeting you," Dec said, giving her a warm hug.

"Same to you," Ant added, smiling. "Don't be a stranger."

With that, Sapphire left, leaving the three friends to their own devices. Ant, Dec, and Stephen stayed behind, content to just be in each other's company. They lingered at the table for a while, talking about everything and nothing-plans for the future, old memories, and whatever came to mind.

As the day wore on, the laughter continued, and even when the sun began to set, they felt no rush to leave. It was a perfect, quiet day-one that reminded them just how much they cherished each other's presence. They didn't need any grand adventures or exciting plans; sometimes, just sitting together, enjoying each other's company, was more than enough.
