Ant, Dec, and Stephen had planned a cosy day together, just for the three of them to unwind and relax. After a busy few weeks filled with filming and public events, they were all craving some downtime to recharge and enjoy each other's company.
The day started off with Stephen arriving at Ant's place early in the morning. He was barely through the door when Ant and Dec, already waiting, greeted him with wide smiles and warm hugs. Stephen immediately felt a surge of warmth as they wrapped their arms around him tightly, making him feel safe and loved.
"Glad you could make it, little one," Dec teased, giving Stephen a playful nudge.
"Of course! Wouldn't miss our day together for anything," Stephen replied, grinning back at Dec.
As they made their way to the living room, Ant threw a thick, soft blanket over Stephen's shoulders. "Don't want you catching a chill, do we?" he said, gently tucking the edges around him like he was swaddling him. Stephen chuckled, but he secretly loved how caring they were.
The three of them settled down on the couch, choosing an old classic movie to watch. Ant insisted on making Stephen sit between him and Dec, saying it was the "safest spot in the house." Dec winked and ruffled Stephen's hair. "Yeah, can't let anything happen to our precious little brother."
Stephen laughed, shaking his head. "You two know I'm not actually a little kid, right?"
"Oh, hush, baby boy," Dec responded with a grin, giving Stephen's shoulder a light squeeze. "Just let us spoil you for once."
They watched the movie in peaceful silence, occasionally sharing knowing glances and smiles. When Stephen looked particularly engrossed in the film, Ant softly leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on his temple. Stephen glanced at him, a bit flustered but clearly pleased. He felt utterly cherished in that moment.
As the afternoon drifted on, they decided to head out to a nearby park for some fresh air. Dec noticed Stephen shivering a bit and immediately wrapped his arm around him, pulling him close to share his warmth. "Can't have you freezing on us," Dec said with a soft laugh.
At the park, they strolled leisurely, laughing and teasing each other about past mishaps and funny memories. Whenever they noticed Stephen getting quiet or tired, Ant would wrap a protective arm around his shoulders, or Dec would hold his hand, offering reassuring squeezes.
When they finally made their way back to the house, Ant and Dec insisted on making hot cocoa for all three of them. Ant handed Stephen his cup, and as he held it with both hands, Dec gently patted his back, almost instinctively. "You're too precious to not take care of," Dec said with a chuckle, leaning in to give him another kiss on the cheek.
They ended the day by sitting outside in the garden, wrapped in blankets, enjoying the quiet evening together. Stephen was nestled between Ant and Dec once again, their hands resting on his shoulders in a silent show of comfort and protection. As the stars appeared, Stephen couldn't help but feel grateful to have two such caring, protective friends.
"I don't know what I'd do without you both," Stephen murmured, feeling his eyes sting with emotion.
"Lucky for you, you'll never have to find out," Ant whispered, giving him a gentle kiss on the top of his head. Dec mirrored the gesture, and they all sat there in quiet companionship, their bond unbreakable and full of love.
