It was a typical Friday evening when Ant and Dec noticed Stephen buried under a pile of scripts, the glow of his laptop illuminating his focused expression. They exchanged glances, both instantly aware that he needed a break-a moment of kindness that could brighten his day.
"Hey, little buddy," Dec said softly as he approached Stephen's desk, a playful smile on his lips. "We've got a surprise for you."
Stephen looked up, his eyes wide with curiosity. "What is it?" he asked, a hint of exhaustion in his voice.
Ant appeared at Dec's side, holding a tray stacked high with snacks-pizza slices, popcorn, and an assortment of drinks. "You've been working so hard, we thought we'd treat you," he said warmly, his tone laced with affection.
Stephen's face broke into a smile as they set the tray down on his cluttered desk. "You two are the best," he chuckled, reaching for a slice of pizza.
"Only the best for our favourite baby," Dec replied, ruffling Stephen's hair affectionately. "Now, come on. We can't have you working through dinner. Let's go to the living room."
As they walked together, Ant placed a hand gently on Stephen's back, guiding him along as if to shield him from the world outside. "Stay close, champ. We don't want you getting lost in all these scripts," he teased, his voice light and comforting.
Once they settled onto the sofa, Ant pulled Stephen close, wrapping an arm around his shoulders and tucking him into his side. "You know we love you, right?" he whispered, running his fingers through Stephen's hair, soothing him with gentle strokes. He leaned down, placing soft kisses on Stephen's cheek, the warmth of his lips lingering just a moment longer than necessary.
Dec settled in beside them, his hands instinctively finding Stephen's feet, massaging them with practised care. "Just relax, sweet pea. We've got you," he murmured, his voice low and inviting. "You deserve to be pampered."
With every bite of pizza, every laugh shared, Stephen felt the warmth of their affection enveloping him. Ant took a moment to grab a handful of popcorn, feeding it to Stephen like they were kids at a movie theatre. "How's that? Good?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
Stephen nodded, laughter bubbling up as he reached for another slice of pizza. "This is amazing. You both really didn't have to."
"Oh, but we wanted to," Dec said, giving his foot one last squeeze before shifting to wrap his arms around Stephen's waist. "You work too hard, and we just can't stand to see you forget to take care of yourself."
"I'm fine," Stephen replied, though the softness of their affection melted away his defences.
"Not a chance, little one," Ant said firmly but with a tender smile. "We're here to make sure you're always feeling cherished." He leaned down to plant a gentle kiss on Stephen's neck, eliciting a soft sigh of contentment from him.
As the night wore on, the three of them settled into a comfortable rhythm. Ant held Stephen close, whispering sweet reassurances into his ear. "You're our sunshine, you know that?" he said, pressing a gentle kiss on Stephen's temple, then trailing kisses down to his cheek.
Feeling the warmth of their love, Stephen attempted to return to his scripts, but the moment he shifted away from their embrace, Dec shot him a disapproving look. "No way, mate. You're staying right here," he insisted, pulling Stephen back toward him with a gentle tug.
Ant nodded in agreement, his fingers still combing through Stephen's hair. "We need you to take a break. Just let us spoil you tonight."
Dec picked up the massage where he left off, his hands working expertly at Stephen's ankles and calves. "You're too precious to be stressed over work," he whispered, his voice warm and inviting.
As Ant continued to run his fingers through Stephen's hair, he could feel the tension in Stephen's body start to melt away. "Forget the scripts, love," Ant murmured, planting soft, lingering kisses along Stephen's neck. "We've got everything you need right here."
"Honestly, you two," Stephen chuckled, but the protest faded as Dec leaned in closer, planting gentle kisses on Stephen's cheek while whispering sweet nothings into his ear.
"You're loved, adored, and cherished," Dec reminded him, his voice laced with sincerity. "We just want you to feel how special you are to us."
"Exactly," Ant chimed in, leaning in to nuzzle Stephen's temple, his breath warm against his skin. "You mean the world to us, and we'll always be here to remind you of that."
The warmth and comfort of their affection wrapped around Stephen like a cosy blanket, pulling him deeper into their embrace. Each kiss, each gentle caress, coaxed him further into relaxation, erasing any thoughts of work. He melted into them, his heart swelling with gratitude and love.
"I really don't know what I'd do without you two," Stephen confessed, leaning into the warmth of their embrace, feeling safe and secure.
Dec grinned, leaning forward to steal a piece of popcorn from the bowl. "And you never have to find out. We're not going anywhere."
As the movie played on, the laughter and warmth continued, wrapping around them like a cosy blanket. The world outside faded away, leaving just the three of them-together, safe, and utterly content.
