As Stephen's popularity grew, so did his workload, filling his schedule with a flood of emails, meetings, and contract negotiations. It was exciting, but as the days wore on, Ant and Dec couldn't help but notice how the spark in their friend's eyes was starting to flicker. Stephen still greeted them with his usual cheer, but there was a subtle shift-he looked a little tired, a little more on edge.

One evening, after a long day of filming, Ant caught Stephen staring blankly at his phone, scrolling through a seemingly endless list of unread emails. Dec exchanged a glance with Ant, both of them noticing the shadows under Stephen's eyes.

"Mate, when was the last time you took a proper break?" Dec asked, trying to keep his tone casual but laced with concern.

Stephen shrugged, forcing a small smile. "I'm fine, honestly! Just a few projects to sort through. You know how it is."

"Yeah, we know," Ant said, folding his arms. "And we also know how easy it is to burn out if you don't take care of yourself." He shot Stephen a look that was more serious than usual. "So from now on, you're not handling this on your own."

Stephen blinked, looking between them. "What do you mean?"

Dec stepped in, a warm but firm hand on Stephen's shoulder. "What Ant means is that we'll be going through all of these contracts with you. We're not letting anyone run you ragged, alright? If someone's got a deal for you, it goes through us first."

Stephen tried to protest, a laugh bubbling up in surprise. "You don't have to do that! I can handle it."

"Of course, you can," Ant said gently, "but we're your mates, your brothers, remember? We just want to make sure you're getting the best out of everything. You deserve that."

After some back-and-forth, Stephen eventually gave in, too tired to resist their insistence any longer. He agreed to let them handle any contracts or new projects, trusting them to sift through the details and watch his back.

The following weeks saw a change in the dynamic. Ant and Dec made it their mission to check in on Stephen regularly, making sure he was eating and drinking properly. Whenever they were on set, they'd sneak him snacks, and Dec would always be sure he had a bottle of water nearby.

"Alright, Steve, break time," Ant declared one afternoon, pulling Stephen out of his seat and away from the mountain of paperwork he'd been poring over. They led him to the catering table, piling a plate high with food before pressing it into his hands.

"I'm not even that hungry," Stephen protested weakly, but Dec gave him a playful nudge.

"Tough luck, little bro," Dec grinned. "If you don't start eating, we'll just keep bringing you more."

Over time, Stephen found himself relaxing, the tension in his shoulders slowly melting away under the constant care and attention Ant and Dec showered on him. Whenever he'd start to worry about his workload, they'd be there, reassuring him with gentle smiles and reminders that he wasn't alone in this.

One evening, as they sat together in Ant's living room after a particularly exhausting day, Stephen looked at his friends with a deep sense of gratitude. "You know, I don't know what I'd do without you two."

Dec threw an arm around him, pulling him into a comforting hug. "That's what we're here for, Steve. We've got you."

Ant joined in, ruffling Stephen's hair affectionately. "Always."

Stephen closed his eyes, sinking into the warmth of their embrace. In that moment, he knew he was more than just their friend; he was their little brother, cherished and protected in every sense of the word.
