God damnit!

I just quickly showered and got dressed while my hair was still dripping wet.

I checked the time again— it was 5:27 am. I grabbed my sandals, bag, car keys, and after getting into the car, I then wore my sandals.

It was 5:50 when I arrived at the company, and when I saw that Raymond was already there, I immediately signaled him to help me get things set up because I only had 10 minutes left to prepare.

“ Gosh, Madam!

“ The drinks hit me too hard last night, so I’m just grateful I woke up, even if it was a bit late. Ugh! That’s why I hate going out when I have work the next day!”

“ Do you want to tie your hair up or wear it loose? Want me to add some curls?”

“ Just curl it, Ray.”

“ Is Ms. Villanueva here yet?”

“ Congratulations, Ms. Villanueva! You’ve been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer of Dupioni Luxury Company!”

Everyone started clapping, but I was still in shock.

“ Don’t you have anything to say, Ms. Villanueva?” tanong ni Mrs. Brown.

“ Ms. Villanueva?”

“ Madam, tinatanong ka ni Mrs. Brown.”

“ U-uhh...T-thank you!”

“ Thank you? That’s all?”

“ U-uhm... E-ehem! Thank you, Mrs. Brown! It’s an honor to be the CMO of this company. I-I mean, it’s been a year since I started working here, and I’ve been dreaming of this moment for so long, and I still can’t believe it’s actually happening. I’ll do my very best to fulfill my duties as CMO of Dupioni.”

Mrs. Brown gave me a glass of champagne, and we raised our glasses in a toast.

“ Be ready...Dupioni is expanding to neighboring countries with new branches starting next week. ”
Different countries?!

“ Y-yes, Mrs. Brown. I am always ready.”

“ Good.”

The whole company celebrated my promotion to CMO of Dupioni, and Mrs. Brown let me out early so I could celebrate with my friends. But first, I wanted to share the news with Gilbert, Tita Georgina, and of course, kila Mama at Papa.

“ Madam!
