You are new to UA, having come from the States over the summer with your mom due to an incident at your last school. You start your days by becoming a hero to help find your dad. Over time, you begin to ask... are you really faking? Are you even str...
The week after, you guys had Wednesday and Thursday off to study for the third exam on Friday.
While at flight practice, you found a lake tucked away deeper in the woods past the cabins. The sudden reflection from the sun on it almost blinded you. You decided to come after.
You sat there listening to music, studying aerodynamics.
Your pencil tapping on your notebook basically camouflaged the footsteps getting closer behind you.
So when you felt wood chips hit the back of your arm. "AH!" You jumped.
"Woah." Bakugou held his hands back.
"Oh, sorry." You took your headphones off. "I got lost in the song." The disconnection made your phone start playing it out loud. He sat next to you.
"I'm surprised you found out about this place." He was grabbing his books.
"How? I'm constantly flying over this island."
"Oh yeah..." He caught himself nodding along to the drums. "I could probably play that."
"Really? This song actually... reminds me of you." He stopped turning pages and looked at you.
"Me how?"
You shrugged, feeling a little shy. "Not really the drums, probably because you're overdue with playing with me." You playfully punched his arm, making him chuckle.
"When was the last time you saw me play?"
"Like, 2 months ago."
"Then I'll play you this song after summer." You smiled at the thought. "What reminded you then?"
"Well... the lyrics... I guess." That's when his part sang. "♪He said that, out of all the girls, that I'm his favorite.♪"
"Oh." He set down his book and grabbed your waist. A little skip in your heart as he scooted you closer. "Well, she's not wrong." "♫He pats me on the back, but I wish he was touching something else.♫" He stared deeper into your eyes. Then leaned in on his arm behind you. "I wish I could touch you again." Heat escaped you.
He always smelled so good. "If you get a better grade than me tomorrow." You instinctively challenged.
His smirk grew wider. "I might as well book the hotel, then."
"Then focus." You turned away right when he tried closing the gap. He kissed your cheek instead. He went back to his book, the passing music filling the space. He focused on Advanced Biology.
