Chapter 45: Baby Name and Proposal

BLADE'S POV

*3 months later*

Gabe and I walked into the doctor's office, hand in hand. I sighed in and sat down next to Gabe, waiting to be called.

"What do you want it to be?" I asked, playing with his fingers.

"I think it'd be nice to have a son, you know, a mini me." He said with a small smile. "What about you?"

"I'd like to have a girl." I said, resting my hand on my growing belly.

"Well, whatever this baby is, I will love it just the same." He said, placing his hand on top of mine.

"I love you so much." I said, resting my head on the wall behind me.

"I love you too Blade." He said, kissing my lips.

"How about, if it's a boy, you pick out the name, and if it's a girl, I pick out the name?"

"Deal." He smiled, kissing my cheek. No one knew about this baby except for my parents.

"Blade Biersack." I smiled at Gabe and stood up, walking down the hallway with Gabe behind me. I was led to a room and instructed to get on the table and lift up my shirt. I did so as Gabe took a seat in the chair next to me. The doctor quickly came in and pulled on some gloves, sitting on his stool. My body tensed up as he squeezed the freezing cold jelly onto my stoumach. Gabe stroked my hand with his thumb, trying to calm me down. He moved the ultrasound machine around my stoumach.

"There's the heartbeat, hear it?" He asked and we both nodded. I looked over at Gabe with tears in my eyes and he quickly wiped a tear off his cheek. "And there's your baby!" He said as he pointed it out on the screen. I gasped and covered my mouth, not able to hide my smile. "Would you two like to know the gender?" He asked and we nodded. "You two are having a baby boy." He said with a smile. I looked over at Gabe and smiled, once more. He wiped the gel off my belly and printed out a picture for us before leaving.

"Looks like you got your wish." I said with a smile, hopping off the table.

"I know!" I've never seen him happier. We made our next appointment and walked out to the car. 

"So, have you though of a name?" I asked as he pulled out of the parking lot and out onto the road.

"What about Blake Alexander Jones?" He asked.

"I think it's perfect." I said with a smile, grabbing his free hand and playing with it.

"Great." He smiled.

"Blade, I think I wanna tell my siblings. and your parents. I also wanna tell my mom the name and gender."

"All right, when?"

"T-Today."

"Okay, where do you wanna go first?"

"Brandon, I need to get a hoodie anyway."

"Okay." He said, driving to our place. I walked up the stairs with him behind me, heading to our apartment. I ran in real fast, grabbed a hoodie and slipped it on before grabbing Gabe's hand and walking down the hall to Brandon's. I knocked on the door and he answered, looking really tired.

"Hey Blade." He said with a smile.

"Hey Brandon, we need to talk to you and Alex." I said as Gabe rubbed my back.

"Okay, come on in. Alex!" He called as he let us in. "Go ahead and sit on the couch."

"What is it Brandon?" Alex appeared with Camryn in her arms.
