BRANDON'S POV

As soon as I got back into California, I decided to look for an apartment. I found one at a reasonable price and reasonable distance from our homes. I went over to Jake's house and knocked on the door.

"Hey Brandon," Vic smiled at me, bro hugging me.

"Hey man," I smiled back. "Your sister here?" I asked, flicking the hair out of my eyes.

"Yup, hold on. ALEX!" he shouted up the stairs.

"What do you-BRANDON!" She squealed once she saw me, sprinting down the stairs and jumping onto me.

"Haha, hey babe," I chuckled, kissing her temple. "Guess what?" I asked as I dropped her and pecked her lips.

"What?" she asked, curious.

"I got us an apartment while I'm here."

"BRANDON!" She squealed. "YAY!"

"Go pack three months worth of stuff," I said and she sprinted up the stairs. I just sat in the living room with Vic and talked to him.

"Alright babe, I'm ready," Alex said after thirty minutes, dragging down two suitcases.

"Alright, see ya Vic," I said, bro hugging him before taking both of Alex's suitcases. I loaded them into my car as she climbed in. I drove off and drove to our new apartment. She put her stuff in and then we went to go get a couple pieces of furniture. We got a couch, two recliners, a small table with four chairs, a TV and some other essentials. We got everything set up and I pecked her lips.

"I still gotta go say hi to my family," I chuckled.

"Okay, I'll stay here," she said, gesturing to our room.

"Okay, love you," I said as I grabbed my keys.

"Love you," she said before I closed the door. I climbed down the stairs and climbed into the car. I drove to my parents house and knocked on the door.

"Brandon!" Bailey squealed and latched onto me.

"Haha hey," I said as I walked in and closed the door behind me. "I'm here!" I called and the rest of my family came running.

"Brandon!" they all exclaimed, surrounding me in a giant hug.

"Hi there," I said as they all released me.

"So, how long are you in town for this time?" Blade asked as we sat down in the living room.

"The whole summer," I said and a big smile spread across her face.

"YAY!" she screamed, jumping on me. We talked for a while before I decided to go back to Alex.

"I better be getting back," I said, standing up.

"Alright, bye," they all said and hugged me before I left.

"Babe, I'm home!" I called and she came up to me and hugged me.

"Hi" she giggled.

A week later, I sat up in bed as my phone rang.

"Ugh," I groaned, answering it, not bothering to look at who it was.

"Hello?" I asked, groggily.

"Brandon!" Bailey was way too peppy.

"Yes Bailey?"

"Do you want to come to my gig tonight?"

"Your gig?" I asked, confused.

"Yeah! I'm in a band!"
