Chapter 53: Wedding Dress Shopping For Blade
BLADE'S POV
*1 Month later*
"Blade! Your mom's here!" Gabe called. I carried Blake to the front door and smiled at my mom.
"Ready to go?" She asked and I nodded. I kissed Blake's forehead and handed him to Gabe.
"Are you sure you're going to be okay being alone with him?" I asked, looking at Gabe and bitting my lip.
"Blade, he's three months old, I'm pretty sure I can handle him. And if I have problems, Brandon is right down the hall."
"Okay, love you." I said, pecking his lips.
"Love you too." He said, kissing me back.
"Love you Blake." I cooed, kissing his forehead, before leaving the apartment. I got into the car with my mom which already had Bailey, Alex, Lyrica, Camryn and all the BVB girls. We were going dress shopping for my wedding today and I was nervous. I had been working out for the last two months but I was still afraid I wouldn't fit into any of the dresses I liked. We drove to the bridal shop and all got out, walking in.
"Hey there, can I help you?"
"Yeah, we're here for dresses for my wedding." I said.
"Great, follow me." She said, leading us to a room with dressing rooms and mirrors. We all sat down and the girl smiled at us. "I'm Abigail and I'll be helping you find the perfect dress for your wedding. Now, what's your name?"
"Blade."
"That's a unique name, what kind of dress were you looking for?"
"Well, I'm having a beach wedding so like a long, white dress, no sleeves." She nodded and dissapeared, coming back with three dresses in hand.
"I picked out a couple dresses for you and if you don't like these I can go and get some more." She said with a smile. I nodded and grabbed the dresses, going into the dressing room. I pulled on the first one and walked out, admiring myself in the mirror.
The dress went past my ankles and had a beautiful train hanging off of it. It had thin straps on the shoulders and was cut into a big V at the back. The whole dress was kind of plain which bothered me.
"It's too plain and shows too much of my back." I said, looking at how much skin it showed. I went back into the dressing room and tried on another dress, this wasn't it either.
It was a long, white dress that went past my feet but was shorter at the front and stopped at my ankles. There was a white cover type thing over the dress, that was only visible on my chest. There was straps around my neck and fanning out, leaving a oval type shape of visible skin on my back. The dress was tight until it got to my thighs and began to fan out a little. The straps around the neck were incrusted with diamonds, along with the band around the torso.
"It's just not me." I said, looking at the dress in the mirror. I went back and put on the last dress, liking the way it felt on my body.
It was a long white dress that went past my feet and had diamond straps on my shoulders. The dress was tight until it got to my hips and then it fanned out a bit. Right under my brests was a little diamond, giving the dress some sparkle. The back of the dress was a corset style and the train was beautiful.
"What do you think about this?" I asked them and they all nodded, saying that it looks good. "I think this might be the one, if I lose a bit more weight." I said, turning to the side and looking at my stomach.
