"Oh, God, you are such a freak! Why can't you be normal for a change!"
"Normal? Oh, I'm sorry if I'm not one of your bleached blonde bimbos you call friends, yet hook up with their boyfriends behind their backs. If that's normal, than I think I'm fine being a freak, thanks!"
Cat fixed her cold glare on her step sister Moira, her violet eyes burning into Moira's green-blue. This wasn't an unusual event. Cat and Moira had been at each other's throats since the moment their parents had said I do. Actually, since before then. Many people could remember the colourful discussion and ensuing cat fight that had come up over the topic of bridesmaid dresses. As per usual, Moira was complaining about Cat's strange dress sense. And as usual, Cat couldn't care less, and actually appeared to enjoy rilling her step sister up. She enjoyed dressing steampunk, and therefore had a wardrobe of weird and wonderful clothing, all of which came with the added bonus of ticking off Moira.
Today, the argument centred around a ruffled pinstriped jacket she was wearing. It was actually fairly demure by Cat's standards.
"Cat, we don't have time to argue, go change." Moira's expression reminded Cat of a kettle coming to the boil. Cat mused, wondering the best way to make said kettle explode.
She looked Moira in the eye, an evil glint forming in her violet irises.
"Alright, I will change."
Moira looked unbelieving then relieved.
Cat smiled a wicked grin.
"I could always wear that red and gold number with the corset with the clock I wore at Christmas."
Moira's face visibly paled.
"On second thoughts, the jackets fine."
