Indirectly

Lindsay, Moira, Luke and Valerian watched in dismay as Cat faced off the monster dog.
Lindsay turned to the others. "Okay, anyone got any ideas?"
Valerian shrugged her shoulders mournfully. "None at all. It's to hard, we just don't know."

Julian sat on his seat, internally waging war with himself. On one hand, if they didn't guess they would loose. Yes, they would loose to Talitha, but he would find a way to get Cat from her. On the other hand, if they did loose, chances are Talitha would let Cerberus maul the girl, possibly to death.
Even if she survived, he didn't want her to be caused any more harm, have any more scars, not when he could have prevented them.
He cursed, cursed himself, cursed Cat, cursed his sister, cursed the whole game. He enjoyed playing, but not at the cost of Cat's life.
Damn her, what had she done to him?
But he couldn't interfere, otherwise the bet was null and void. If only she'd just ask! But she was stubborn, stubborn and obstinate, and she didn't like losing.
Much like him in some ways.

But no, he couldn't help them directly, that was against the rules.
Indirectly, on the other hand...
After all, if they technically figure it out themselves...

Casually he leaned over towards the group. "Do you know the story of Apollo and Daphne?"
Moira looked at him strangely. "Uh... not really, why?"
Julian glanced at Talitha. Good, she was still watching Cat.
"Well, Apollo once fell in love with a Nymph, named Daphne. Now Daphne had sworn to never marry, so when Apollo approached her to tell her of his love, she ran. So, of course, he gave chase. Running faster, she came to a river, to deep to cross. So, instead of letting herself be caught, she pleaded to the God's to save her. The God's granted her prayer and turned her into a Laurel tree. The first Laurel tree.
When Apollo gets there, he sees the tree, he screams and yells and curses his family. Then he does something strange. He takes a knife and cuts a bow from the tree, arranging it into a crown, which he wears. And from then on, the Laurel is the symbol of victory, the crown of the champions."
