First floor

Cat stood in shock for a moment. Then, she mentally shock herself and began to ascend the staircase. The banister underneath her fingers was made of iron, wrought into an intricate design spiralling upwards. The cool metal sent spikes of cold through her body, reminding her that she was not dreaming. She reached the first floor of the tower.
A few bookshelves, decorated in the same spikey, twisted design filled the area. Hundreds of coloured books lined the shelves. Absentmindedly, she trailed her fingers along the shelves, until she found something. A piece of paper, decorated the same as the letter was pinned to the end of the shelf. She tugged it off. On it was written another riddle:

I am no fearsome beast,
But my thin teeth are bared.
No friend of the bald,
I find love with the haired.

Suddenly, Cat looked up to see a door she hadn't noticed before. It was old fashioned, made of wood and again decorated with the thorny design. She walked towards it and placing her hand on the handle, pushed it open.

It opened onto a clearing surrounded by woods. In the centre of the clearing was a tall tower, with a rope of golden hair leading from the window down to the ground.

Same rule applies. Anyone who guesses the riddle gets a dedication.
