In the dark, Julian could see the determination expression set on her face.
"I am not afraid of you."
Floor, or was it a ceiling? No one could tell. Gravity pulled them to it, as if it were the floor, but the large chandelier handing upwards in front of them suggested otherwise. Cat looked up. Yep, things definitely were upside down. A table and chair hung adhered above their heads. Valerian carefully stoop up and walked towards the chandelier, trailing her fingers over the fine metal work. In the light of the upside down candles, Cat couldn't help but admire her new costume. It was blue, iridescent blue and shaped into two delicate wings.

Then Cat got it. It was the blue caterpillar from the book. Well, technically it was a butterfly, but the concept was there. She quickly glanced at the others. An array of other Alice in wonderland characters surrounded her. Moira was dressed in a tartan coat with glasses and an oversized pocket watch. On her head stood a pair of realistic rabbit ears. Cat could have sworn they moved.

Lindsay was decked out in a configuration that under normal circumstances she wouldn't have been caught dead in. A baby blue dress with a wide petticoat skirt made her a fine Alice.

Almost dreading what she would see, Cat peered down at herself. It wasn't so bad. A leather jacket, bodice and shorts complete with knee high boots.

Then she felt something twitch behind her. Tentatively, she reached back. Yup, she had a tail. She glanced over at Lindsay, who was struggling to hide a giggle. Cat glared. Lindsay covered her mouth with her hand and pointed at Cat's head. Cat ran a hand over her scalp. Great, a tail and cat ears. She was never living this one down.
Carefully, she stood up. It felt no different to walking on normal ground. She swiftly walked over to Valerian. "Now we just need to work out how to get down, er, up. Down or up?"
Just out of interest, do people like the outfit photos? I'm never quite sure if they're good to have or not.
