Time for tea

Cat stumbled forwards into the sunlight. Behind her the creature whined and whimpered at the loss of its playmate, a invisible barrier seeming to block it from the glade.
"Hey, Cat! Hey!"
Cat whipped around to see Valerian and Lindsay calling her from across the clearing.
Cat ran towards them. "See, guys, told you we would be fine."
"Well, Moira hasn't shown up yet, but apart from that..." said Lindsay, shrugging.
A rustle came from besides them and a minute later a filthy Moira dashed out of the bushes. "Plants... evil plants... never see flowers... the same... again!" She panted.
Cat rubbed Moira's back soothingly as she bent over, attempting to regain her breath.
"So what do we do now?"Asked Lindsay, looking around.

"Why, you come join me for tea, of course."

The girls turned around swiftly to face the voice.
Cat was less than surprised find it was Julian. But he made up for it with what he was wearing.

It was a mismatched outfit, but at the same time it worked. It was all dark colours, Victorian gothic in style, with a black shirt and trousers, midnight blue waistcoat and dark purple velvet jacket. On his head was a hat made of shiny black velvet, the kind that shone blue and purple in the light, with a ribbon wrapped around the middle.

"The mad hatter." Thought Cat. "A part he was born to play."

Julian reclined on a large velvet chair with his boots resting casually on a long table full of all sorts of cakes and sweets.
But he wasn't alone.

Sitting next to him, in a brown waistcoat with long brown ears resting in his hair was Harry, looking awkward, uncomfortable, and to say the least, guilty.
