Talitha was dressed in a short black dress with thick boots and a glowing staff. But what most drew the players eyes were the two horns atop her head.
Cat smirked. "Yes, devil lady is definitely you."
Talitha shot her a sarcastic smile. "You know, your not as funny as you think you are, dearie. Or as smart. Surely you could have worked out the game by now if you were."
Cat gestured to another flight of steps behind Talitha. "Well, I know enough to know what we're looking for is up those stairs."
Harry and Lindsay shot each other confused looks. What was Cat doing? They didn't know where to look.
But Talitha obviously believed her. "How did you find out?! How do you know?!"
Cat grinned. "I didn't. I just guessed from the fact that we've been wandering aimlessly around the place, but you only showed up once we were at risk of climbing those stairs."
Talitha's face twisted up furiously as she thought through what Cat had said. Then her face broke into a smile as she laughed, a delicate, tinkling laugh. "Clever girl. I can see why Julian likes you. Well, we'll just have to make this harder, won't we?"
From deep within the halls, came the sound of a large roar.
Talitha giggled maniacally. "Let's see you outsmart this one!"

"RUN!" Yelled Cat, charging up the steps, the others in hot pursuit. Reaching the top, Cat glanced back to see a dragon, large as a house, crash into the room. It's scales were black as midnight, all except for a crown of pearly white horns atop its head and down its neck. Its wings reflected iridescent light off their scaly armour. It's eyes burned a glowing blue.

Lindsay gave Cat a small push. "Don't stop, just run!" She yelled.
Dragon chasing after them, they raced down the halls, passing more statues on the way. Cat's mind also began racing.
"Dragon. A fairytale with a dragon. What fairytales include dragons? Oh, yes Cat, way to make a short list. What fairytales don't?
And statues. Stone statues. That's got to be important. Statues like people. People under a curse, frozen where they stood.
And Talitha's very inventive outfit. That's got to be a clue."

Cat's mind was running through all the options. Suddenly, it clicked. "Guys, I think we're in sleeping beauty."
"That would make sense." Gasped Harry, as the dragon smashed down the hallway behind them.

Seriously, anyone know an appropriate song for this chapter?
