They entered a large room, like a palace ballroom with a grand staircase in the middle made entirely of grey stone. The floors were stone, the walls were stone, the ceiling and staircase all made of carved stone. It made the hall seem cold and intimidating.
Most chilling of all was the stone statues dotted around the place, depicting beautifully detailed people and animals carved so realistically that they almost looked alive.
Cat looked around in awe. "Whoa, this place is huge! Its... wow!"
"Look at yourself, it's... wow." Came Harry's reply.
Cat looked around at her friends and then down at herself.
They were all dressed in a stylized, lightweight suit of armour, beautifully crafted and unique, along with a sword and a shield sporting an individual crest.

Lindsay looked down at herself, grimacing. "Great, red skirt and silver chainmail, the height of the spring fashion line."
"I'm more worried about why we would need armour." Said Harry, shooting her a look.
"Or a sword." Added Cat, drawing hers from its sheath and admiring it. "Not that it's not cool, but still..."
Harry drew his too, and tested it out, pretending to fight an invisible opponent. Cat rolled her eyes and grabbed his arm, stilling him. "Let's get a move on, and play sword fights later, okay?
"Yeah, let's go, this place is creeping me out." Added Lindsay. "Is it me, or have these statues moved?"
Cat looked round. She wasn't sure, but it did look like some of the statues had changed place. There was a dancer girl who she was sure had been further back. And hadn't that boy carrying a plate been in a different position a minute ago?
Maybe it was just the lighting. And the emptiness of the of the place. And the general, spooky atmosphere.
Cat looked around once more and shivered. "Yeah, we should definitely go."
