Lindsay hated the idea of splitting up. In her opinion, it was the worst thing they could have possibly done. It was almost like a universal law that bad things had to happen whenever they split up.
She just couldn't believe Cat had actually suggested that. That girl was way too cocky for her own good. And never seemed to get permanently harmed. Even the apple had only been temporary. Cat didn't have one cut, scrape or bruise, at least, not severe enough to notice.
She, Lindsay, had a scraped knee, bruised arm and a twisted ankle to note.
Life was so unfair.

"Yes it is, isn't it?"

Lindsay whipped around. The speaker was leaning against a tree, a tall, slim girl in a blue Alice dress with long blonde hair...
Oh god, it was her. It was her.
Lindsay was looking at an exact replica of herself.

"Wha... wh... wh... who are you?"
Stammered Lindsay.
"I am you. And you are me." Said the replica Lindsay, smiling sweetly.
"No, I am me and you are you. Now go away."

Fake Lindsay kept smiling. "I can only go away if you go away. And then I can only go with you."
Lindsay began to walk away from her identical twin. The girl followed, copying Lindsay's walk exactly.
Lindsay whipped around. "Leave me alone!" She yelled.
"I can't!" Fake Lindsay yelled back.
Lindsay turned back, crossed her arms and kept walking, muttering to herself.
Fake Lindsay followed.
"Where are we going?"
"You should know since you claim to be me." Snarled Lindsay.
Fake Lindsay clapped her hands. "A guessing game then! Er... are we going to the river? I love the river. Especially the boats. I want to sail in a boat one day, sail away with my trusty crew, to collect oysters and see amazing animals, like pink tigers and Dodo's and bread-and-butterflys and..."

The girl just went on and on and on. Lindsay felt like screaming at her, but from the way she was acting, she'd be pleased of the attention.
She was like an irritating little sister. Lindsay just had to ignore her and hope she'd go away.
