"Does anyone else feel weird?"asked Valerian.
"I've been feeling weird since the game started." Snorted Moira.
Valerian rolled her eyes. "That's not what I meant. I mean, does anyone feel like their being pulled to the ground, er, ceiling, er, whatever we're standing on."
Lindsay raised an eyebrow. "Yes Valerian, that's what we call gravity. It holds us to the surface of the earth."
"Yes, I do know that, but what I'm saying is that this gravity seems different. Stretched. And there's definitely a layer of magic."
Cat could kind of see what she meant. It did feel weird, fake almost. Heck, it probably was fake, being part of the illusion.
"What are you trying to say, Valerian?"
"I don't quite know. Let me try something." She fluttered her wings and flew up to the floor-ceiling. Doing a back flip she turned upside down and planted her feet on the checked tile. She giggled, pleased with herself. "Just as I thought! Gravity works on all the walls! You could probably walk up here!"

Cat laughed. Valerian looked so funny upside down above them. Funniest thing was, it looked like she was right. She didn't look like she was hanging upside down. Her hair and clothing stayed in it's normal position.

Approaching a wall, Cat put a foot against it. Then, praying Valerian was right and she wasn't about to embarrassingly fall on her butt, she lifted her other foot and began to walk up the wall.

It felt weird, because it felt normal. You could literally walk up any surface in this room perfectly normally. Cat looked back to see Lindsay and Moira following behind her, laughing. Of all the challenges, this one was actually quite fun.
