Escape from wonderland

Cat had never experienced anything remotely similar to being thrown around by this giant monster.
She clung on for dear life as they exploded into the sunlight, hearing panicked noises all around her as people reacted to the sudden appearance of the monster.
She could feel her fingers slipping, could feel herself sliding off the creatures skin.
Desperately she tried to cling on, but it was no use. Giving one final shake the creature dislodged her from its head, throwing her up into the air.
Down she fell, down, down, down...
She opened her mouth to scream...
SPLAT!
She felt herself land on someone, knocking them flying.
Red cloth filled her vision.

"Well, this is just swell."

Hastily, she moved to untangled herself from Talitha.
Talitha hissed at her menacingly.
Hastily, Cat backed away.
Quick as a flash, Talitha was on her, hands wrapped around Cat's throat.
"I'm going to kill you!" She spat, as Cat gasped for breath. "All you've done, all you've ever done, is ruin my life! First you try to steal my brother, then you dare make me look weak by succeeding in my game, and now you make me look like a fool!"

"I'm pretty sure you achieved the last one on your own." Came a voice from behind her.

Lindsay, Moira and Luke stood there, the sword in Lindsay's hand pointed at Talitha's throat.

"Now, we are going to take our friend and go, before you violate the rules of the game by killing her before she's even lost." Lindsay said.
Talitha snarled and released Cat, almost sulkily.

The group began to walk towards the cave, sword still on Talitha.
"Logic dictates the door will be in here." Moira said, tugging Luke along.
She hadn't released his hand since they'd found him.

There it was. The door, carved into rock at the end of the cave.
Quickly, they all ran to it.

Okay, just a note.
School starts tomorrow, and although I still want to update every day, it may get difficult so don't blame me if I can't.
My goal is at least once every two days, but no promises.
