Cat crept around the side of the large creature, squeezing past it's hulking limbs.
The creature shifted in it's sleep, snorting lightly.
Cat held her breath, not daring to move even the tiniest bit whilst it settled.
Her plan had seemed simple, but was seeming more and more dangerous by the minute.
All she needed was a distraction. A distraction that, in the chaos that ensued, she would be able to grab her friends, get Luke free, and find the door.
Unfortunately, the only way to free Luke was the riddle, which she hadn't really thought about yet. But hey, the others had plenty of time to do that. She couldn't be expected to do everything.

But first and foremost, she needed a distraction. And this is where this creature came into play.
Last thing she wanted was for it to attack her. But if she could panic it, make it bolt for the outside world...
It was a long shot. And extremely dangerous. But Cat seemed to specialize in dangerous long shots as of recently.
Silently, she climbed up one of the stalactites, gripping tightly to the wet stone. Climbing upwards until she was above the Jabberwocky. Then, saying a quick prayer, she let herself drop onto the beast's head.

It opened one giant eye to look at her. Cat quivered with fear. It was as if the eye was formed of acid, glowing green, burning into her flesh with its gaze.
Cat could feel the panic rising in her chest, but forced it down.

The creature snarled low in it's throat and shook it's head, trying to dislodge her. Cat held on. The creature began to throw its head around, scraping it along the walls. Cat clung on, dodging the flailing rocks.
A fact about wild animals is that, whatever their size, they tend to panic when somethings on their face just out of their eye line.

Cat was being thrown left and right, not dissimilar to being on a bucking bronco.
But slowly, as the creature thrashed and hissed, she drew it out of the cave.
