Inside the house was dimly lit. Sparse furniture decorated the single room. A spindly table, a thin chest of drawers and a thin cupboard filled the space around a large, four poster bed.
A high pitched, sugary giggle came from behind them. The door swung closed, to reveal Talitha, in a black leotard and tights with a fur cape, smirking at them.
"So," she said. "Have you all come to tea with granny?"
Cat stepped forwards. "Where's our friend?"
"Right there."
Talitha gestured towards the bed.
There in the bed, sat three identical girls, all in the same pale nightgown, with the same blonde hair under the same lacey night caps. The same beautifully detailed wolf mask obscured their faces.

Talitha smiled cruelly at the bewildered friends. "Aww, can't tell who it is? Some friends you are."
"Oh, yeah? Countered Valerian. What's to stop us looking under all the masks until we find her."

"Because deary, some of those masks aren't actually masks. How would you react if someone tried to pull your face off? Only one of them is dear Moira. But you only get one guess. A wrong answer gets you killed."
Talitha looked around at the group. "Well, chop, chop. You haven't got forever."

Cat looked at the three in the bed. They were exactly identical, no doubt about it. Slowly, she circled the bed, first to the left, then to the right. The girls in the bed all turned their heads in sync to watch her, all moving exactly like each other. Damn, no obvious differences, they really were all the same.

All the same.

Something twigged in Cats mind. There wasn't two fake Moira's in the bed, no, Talitha wouldn't risk that. There were three.
In the story of little red riding hood, the wolf was in the bed disguised as granny. But granny wasn't in the bed. Granny was...

Cat walked over to the cupboard. "What are you doing, Cat?" Asked Harry. "Now is not the time to play dress up."
"Shhhh, trust me." Cat pulled open the door. Moira fell out, into Cats arms.
