They crashed onto the landing, narrowly avoiding the bookcases. Cat slammed the door shut and leant against it, breathing heavily. "Well, I just have a new fear." She said, watching the others pick themselves up and dust down. They were all back in their normal clothing, but they were covered in mud and scratched. Lindsay's hair was wrapped around her head like a tumbleweed. Cat would have laughed, but got the feeling she didn't look much better.
Harry was calming down, visibly coming back from the panic he'd worked himself into.
Lindsay rubbed his shoulder kindly, actually being civil to him. Actually being friendly to him. Cat suppressed a secret smile. What was going on there?

Talitha paced back and forth across the dark and chilling room. How had they done it? She was sure they would get lost in the tunnels. She was sure they would get eaten by rats. She was sure they would panic and scream and cry for mercy as they were torn apart, lost and alone in the dark.
Something had happened. Something she hadn't seen.
Almost involuntarily, her eyes flicked over to Julian leaning against the far wall.
He wouldn't, would he...?

Talitha shook her head, discarding the thought. Yes, she knew he had a history with the purple eyed one, Cat. But she, Talitha, had put a stop to that. Hadn't she?
She berated herself once again. Julian was loyal to her. He wouldn't betray her. Besides, he knew better now. He wouldn't repeat what happened with Jenny.
She had to know. But she didn't want to ask outright. She had to know she had her brother back. She had to have proof he was the wicked, twisted, manipulative man she knew and loved.
"Julian."
He turned to her, his eyes lighting up through the dark.
"Yes, my dear sister?"
"I need your help. I need a way to make sure they loose. I need a cunning trick to lead them down the wrong path and stop them winning."
Julian thought for a moment. "Cuckoos."
Talitha sniggered. "Okay, and how's a bird going to help?"
Julian smirked. "I think its time to call in a debt. Come here, let me tell you my plan."

As he whispered to his sister, Julian secretly congratulated himself.
What Talitha didn't know was, there were two games at work here.

Anyone intrigued? What do you think they're planning?
Please, I want to hear your theories!
