This time the stairs were built of rough hewn wood, gnarled branches and logs nailed together. The bookshelves were the same, books balancing on uneven beams held between sides of timber. Shapes took form in the shadows, unclear and distorted, sending shivers down their spines.
Cat shuddered. "This looks... uh... exciting. Guys, be careful. I get the feeling that the game just got really serious."
They all nodded, and split off into different directions. After a search, a call went up from the other side of the room.
"I got it!"
They all hurried over to find Harry clutching the scrap of paper. They all crowded around him as he read:

Some find me tall, others short,
A hat on my head to keep of the weather.
Inside me is where you hold your court,
with all your family all together.
Many eyes from which you see,
No mouth but still I welcome in,
Friends, companions, lovers, guests, and all of your kith and kin.

Valerian stood on tiptoe and peered at it over Harry's shoulder. "What the... That makes no sense! What's that supposed to mean?"
Cat sniggered. "Do that for about four and a bit hours, you'll be where we are now. Best thing to do is just roll with it. It's easier to work out once you know what the challenge is."

"Not that this place is giving us many clues." Said Lindsay, frustration evident on her face. "I mean, come on! Wood. Do you know how many fairy tales include wood? Pretty much most of them!"
"I object to them being called fairy tales. We are nothing like how we are represented, and it is an insult to all the people of the faery kind!"
Valerian said confrontationally.
Cat quickly intervened. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Few things here. One, your actually a faery?"
Valerian scowled, and suddenly, quick as a flash, sprouted gossamer dragonfly wings, which she gently fluttered, a smug but mocking expression on her face.
Cat admired them, impressed. "Cool. Very cool. Anyway, point two. We didn't mean any offense, that's just what they are called in our world. Do you have a better name?"
"Erm... er... uh... stories?"
