Day-Date (Jared)

*A/N* As weird as it sounds, I dreamt about this... And thought I should post it (it was a good dream 😍)

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

You groaned and turned to look at your bed side table. You picked your phone up and switched the alarm off. You were going to fall back to sleep if it wasn't for the thought that reminded you that you had to wake your kids up for school.

You turned to look at your husband, who lay next to you peacefully, unaffected by the alarm than had woken you up.

You got out of bed and wore a cardigan on top. It was a bit chilly. You put your slippers on as well and made your way to your kids' bedroom.

You pulled the curtains open, light illuminating the colourful and full-of-toys room. You walked over to your son first, kissing him on the head. "Wake up, sleepy head. Time for school!" You greeted.

He rubbed his eyes, looking up to you with a sleepy smile, "Hi mommy." You pushed his hair off his face, "Hi baby." He had hair just like his daddy.

You went over to your daughter's bed and kissed her on the head too. She refused to wake up but once you started tickling her, she had no choice.

Your son walked over to the chair and took his clothes. He had finished brushing his teeth and washing his face. He started changing his clothes and you smiled. You're  proud of how smart your six year old is.

You helped your four year old daughter in the bathroom, then with her clothes. You brushed her wavy, brown hair and put a headband for her. Your son looked into the mirror as he brushed his hair.

Jared walked in and picked your son up, grinning. "Good morning!" He said and your son giggled a bit. "Feeling happy?" Jared asked as he placed your son on his hip.

"Yes!" You daughter exclaimed. You and Jared turned to look at her. "Why are you happy today, [y/d/n]?" You asked.

"Because... It's the last day of school!" She started jumping up and down, while your son cheered too. Jared chuckled and you smiled.

"Bye mommy! See you soon!" You son called out as he sat in the car. You watched them from the porch, and waved to him and your daughter in the car seat. Jared gave you a flying kiss and you gave him one back. You smiled softly.

The car drove off, leaving you alone out in the cold.

You flipped through your phone for a good recipe. You wanted to make something special for your family today.

You sipped on your cup of tea as you decided on whether to cook something new or not. You chose not to experiment and make something your kids would love.

You heard the keys jingle in door lock. You stared at he door, waiting for it to be opened. Jared entered and took off his jaket.

"Hun, what should I make today? Would the kids like lasagne? They liked it when I made it the first time," You asked. He walked over to you, thinking about the question.
