CHAPTER 20: Boyfriend?

TYLER'S VIEW

I laid on my bed hugging my pillow with my eyes screwed shut.
'HE'S NOT GOING TO COME!!!!!! HE HATES YOU!!!!!!! JUST GIVE UP ALREADY!!!!!!!'
'SHUTUPSHUTUPSHUTUP!'
'WORTHLESS'
'THATS ALL YOU ARE!!! WORTHLESS, USELESS, WASTE OF SPACE...'
Blurry continued naming off things that he thought I was.
I tried to ignore him but he kept getting louder the more I tried to push his voice away.
'IT'S NOT GOING TO WORK TYLER JUST LISTEN TO ME AND IT'LL BE EASIER ON THE BOTH OF US!!!!!'
'NO! SHUT UP! LEAVE ME ALONE! I CAN'T HANDLE THIS ANYMORE!'
'GOOD!!!!! THAT MEANS I'M DOING MY JOB RIGHT THEN!!!'
Josh please hurry.
'HE'S NOT GOING TO COME AND YOU KNOW IT!!!! HE HATES YO-'

The door burst open.
"Tyler! Tyler I'm here! I'm here! Look at me! Tyler!"
Josh grabbed me and used his hand to move the sweaty hair out of my face.
"JOSH! GET HIM TO STOP! MAKE HIM STOP!"
I screamed with my eyes still closed.
I gripped Josh's shirt tightly.
"Look at me Ty. Look at me. I'm here, I'm here."
'WELL WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT HE ACTUALLY CAME.'
'of course he came.'
I opened my eyes and looked at him through tears.
"Shh, shh your okay I'm here."
"Please."
"Please what Ty?"
"Get him to go away. Make him leave me alone."
'THAT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN TY!!'
I clenched my eyes shut again.
My head hurts really bad.
'I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE!!!!!!!'
"STOP! PLEASE STOP! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!"
"Shh Ty. Shh. What do I do? How do I help? tell me what to do."
"I don't know I just want him to stop!"
He hugged me.
'I'M NEVER GOING TO STOP TYLER!!!!! I'M ALWAYS HERE!!!!'
'why? Why are you always here? Why do you want me dead? What did I ever do to you?'
'JOSH IS ONLY HERE CAUSE HE FEELS BAD FOR YOU!!! HE DOESN'T ACTUALLY CARE!!!'
'Yes he does!'
"Please, please, pleasepleaseplease"
I repeated even though I know it won't help.

'YOU WANT ME TO STOP?'
'YES!'
'THEN YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!'
"NO! I WON'T DO IT! JOSH SAID HE NEEDS ME!"
Josh hugged me tighter and whispered sweet nothings in my ear to try and calm me down.
'NO HE DOESN'T! HE'LL BE HAPPIER WHEN YOUR GONE!!'
'NO!'
'MAYBE YOU'LL LISTEN TO ME IF YOU SEEN ME FACE TO FACE!'
"Huh?"
I look up over Josh's shoulder and see... Myself? No. It was me but it's not me. The me I see has red eyes, a red beanie, a black neck and black hands.
The other me smirked.
'DO YOU LIKE ME BETTER IN THIS FORM?'
"No! Nonononono!"
"What Tyler? What? Whats happening?"
"H-hes me."
"What?"
"BLURRY LOOKS LIKE ME!"
"How do you know what he looks like?"
"YOU DON'T SEE HIM HE'S RIGHT THERE!"
I yelled pointing to where blurry stood.
Josh turned and looked but he looked confused.
"There's no one there Tyler."
"B-but-"
'HE CAN'T SEE ME TYLER. ONLY YOU CAN. YOU REALLY ARE CRAZY AREN'T YOU!?'
"No."
"No?"
Blurry walked toward me.
'IF YOU WON'T KILL YOURSELF I'LL HAVE TO DO IT!!'
"What?"
Blurry wrapped his hands around my throat. I couldn't breathe.

"TYLER! TYLER STOP THAT! Stop! Tyler! No!"
Josh started reaching for my throat as well.
Blurry just laughed.
Josh's hand came in contact with blurrys hands and blurry disappeared.
I instantly gasped for air as Josh moved... My own hands? Away from my neck.
He looked at me in complete shock and worry.
"Why were you doing that? You could have choked yourself to death."
"What?"
"You were choking yourself Tyler."
"No blurry was."
Josh creased his eyebrows.
'WAIT WhAt?! whAT hAPPened? I waS.. WHaT?'
'where did you go? You were here a second ago.'
'HOW diD?'
'how did what?'
'hoW dID JoSH Do ThaT?'
'Josh made you disappear?'
'yEs BUt hOw?'
'I don't know... What's going on with your voice?'
'I doN'T kNoW.'
"How did you do that Josh?"
"Do what?"
"Blurry was just standing in front of me but when you touched him he disappeared and now he's only a voice again."
"Oh.. Um I don't know."
"He's angry about it. His voice sounds funny."
"....I um.. I don't.."
'I'lL bE baCk LaTeR. AfTer i FIGure oUt WhaT juSt HapPEnEd.'

"Josh." I whispered.
"What?"
"H-he's gone."
"He is?"
"For now... He said he'll be back later."
I didn't give Josh time to respond.
I jumped on him and kissed him.
When I pulled away I laid on his chest.
"Thank you."
"I don't know what I did but your welcome."
"You made blurry go away. For the time being anyway."
"Oh but how?"
"I don't know.... I want you to stay with me in case he comes back so you can get him to go away again."
"... Okay."
I could hear Josh's heart beating.
It was beating rapidly.
"Are you okay Josh?"
"Yeah you just scared me. I didn't know what was happening them you started choking yourself and-"
"I'm sorry for scaring you. I didn't mean to."
"No! You didn't scare me."
"But you just said."
"I meant blurry! Blurry scared me."
"Oh."
"Why don't you get some sleep?"
I nodded and closed my eyes.

I woke up when I felt Josh move me off him and get up.
I whined and clawed at the air.
I heard the door open and I opened my eyes.
Josh was slowly opening the door.
"Josh?"
He jerked his head toward me.
"Oh you're awake."
"Yeah... Where are you going?"
"..bathroom."
"Oh... Can I come?"
"I guess."
I got up and followed Josh out of the room.
I grabbed Josh's hand as we walked and he smiled at me.
He then stopped walking.
"What?"
Josh blushed.
"I just realised I don't actually know where the bathroom is."
"Oh. It's this way."
He followed me to the bathroom.
Josh did his business then we walked out into the hall.
"Josh?"
"Yes?"
"Can we go to the cafeteria and get some water?"
"Sure."

We got halfway there and Josh stopped again and started feeling around in his pockets.
"What?"
"I left my phone in the bathroom. Wait here I'll be right back."
Then Josh ran back down the hall.
I stood in the hallway waiting.
"Hey! What are you doing out of your room?" a security guard said approaching me.
"Oh I'm waiting for Josh he went to the bathroom and when he was done we were going to go get a drink but he forgot his phone in the bathroom and ran to go get it."
"Josh?.. Who's Josh?"
"Oh.. You must be the new guard. Josh is my..." wait what do I called Josh? My friend? My boyfriend?
"Your what?"
"Uhh..."
"I got it Ty!"
Josh said running back up to me.
"Oh hi."
"Hi... Josh I'm assuming."
He nodded.
"Well Josh who are you and why are you here after hours?"
"I'm Tyler's um.."
He looked at me and I shrugged.
"Well I'm here because Tyler needed me.. Talk to Dr. James. He knows who I am and he knows that I'm here."
"Okay... I'm going to trust you cause you seem like a nice kid but if I find out you weren't supposed to be here your in a lot of trouble."
The guard left after that.
"Tyler?"
"Yeah?"
"I never officially asked you..."
"Asked me what?"
"Would you do me the honor and be my boyfriend?"
I smiled and nodded.
"Yes!" he whisper-screamed while fist bumping the air.
I laughed at him and he put a hand over his heart with a gasp.
"Are you laughing at me? I feel offended." he joked.
I just shook my head with a smile.
"You're adorable.... Lets go get your water shall we?"
"We shall."

After we got some water we went back to my room and fell asleep.
