TYLER'S VIEW ~

I woke up to find Josh's arms tightly wrapped around my body.
He was sleeping.
'HE HATES YOU.'
'no he doesn't.'
'YES HE DOES.'
'no. Stop.'
I need to use the bathroom.
I tried to get out of Josh's grip but failed when he tightened his arms.
"Josh..... Josh wake up."
Josh didn't move.
"Joshie?"
'YOU IDIOT! DON'T WAKE HIM AGAIN!'
I gently poked Josh's arm.
He inhaled and slowly opened his eyes.
"I need to use the bathroom. Let me go please."
Josh seemed to be fully awake now.
"No."
"No?"
"Not yet."
He reached over to the nightstand and grabbed the two white plastic cups that sat there.
I felt my stomach drop as he sat us both up.
"Take these."
"No."
"Tyler. Take them. Now."
He said sternly handing me the cups.
"No Josh. They don't help."
"These are different ones. Take them."
"No. Let me go to the bathroom."
"Not until you take them."
"Joshhh."
"I'm serious Tyler. You can either take them and go pee or you can keep refusing and try not to pee yourself."
"I don't want to take them though."
"Guess your peeing your pants then."
I frowned.
"Take them."
I looked down at the cups then back up at Josh.
I tried to push myself away from Josh but he just tightened his arms again.
His face was blank the entire time.
I pressed my thighs together trying to not soil my pants.
"Let me go."
"Take them and I will."
"I'm not taking them."
'THROW THE CUPS!'
I looked down at the cups again then picked them up.
Josh grabbed my wrists before I had the chance to throw them.
"Tyler please take them. Please."
I sighed and reluctantly brought the cup with the medication to my mouth, dumping the pills into it then I did the same with the water.

"Open your mouth."
I stared at Josh and shook my head.
"Swallow it Tyler."
I swallowed.
Cringing as I felt the pills slip down my throat.
"Open."
I opened my mouth and showed Josh my now empty mouth.
"Good. Thank you. Come on."
He let go of me and stood up.
I quickly followed.

°~°

Dr. James was waiting outside the room when we got back.
"How are you feeling Tyler?"
I stared at him not really knowing how to answer.
"Tyler?"
I shrugged.
"Did you take the medication?"
I looked at Josh then nodded.
"Good. This stuff is stronger so hopefully it helps more then the last stuff."
I nodded.
'DR. JAMES IS STUPID. HE DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING.'
Josh and Dr. James started talking.
I drifted into a daze.
My eyes focused on one spot on the floor as blurry talked and my mind raced.
"Tyler?"
Josh waved his hand in front of my face.
I turned my head still staring at the floor before I shifted my gaze to Josh.
"Are you okay?"
I nodded.
"It's just a side effect of the medication. He'll daze off a lot on it."
"Oh.. What are the other side effects?"
"Um... Cold sweats, lost of appetite, mood swings and possible dizziness or nausea."
I looked down at the floor again, getting lost in my thoughts.
"Tyler?"
Josh shook my shoulder slightly.
I looked up at him.
Dr. James was no longer here.
I didn't notice him leave.
"Come on lets go back in the room now."
I nodded and walked into the room.
I sighed and laid down on the bed, staring up at the ceiling.

I suddenly remembered that Josh was supposed to be at work today and panicked.
"Josh!"
"What!?" he asked worriedly.
"Your missing work!"
"I called them earlier after you were asleep and told them I can't come in."
"Oh... But-"
"Your more important then work."
"..oh... I am?"
"Yes."
'HES LYING!!!'
"No."
"No?"
"What?"
"Why did you say no?"
"I was talking to blurry."
"Oh...."
'HES JUDGING YOU TYLER! HE THINKS YOUR WEIRD! JUST LIKE ALL THE KIDS AT SCHOOL USED TO!!!'
I stared a the floor as memories from when I went to school flushed through my mind.
I felt a tear run down my cheek but didn't bother wiping it away.

"Tyler?... TYLER!?"
I jumped and looked at Josh.
"Finally. I was calling you name for like two minutes."
"You were?"
"Yeah.. You okay? Why are you crying?"
I wiped my eyes.
"I'm okay."
"But why are you crying?"
"Because I am!"
"Okay there's no need to yell I was just worried."
"Sorry... I-I'm crying because kids at school are mean."
"Kids at school? You don't go to school.."
"I used to... They were mean to me when I went. They thought I was weird and then hurt me because of it.... Blurry says that you think I'm weird too... Just like the kids used to."
"I don't think your weird. I promise."
I nodded.
'HES LYING!!"
"Are you?"
"Am I what?"
"..lying.."
"No I'm not lying. Don't listen to blurry. He doesn't know what he's talking about."
"He doesn't?"
"No."
'I DO KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! I DON'T LIKE JOSH TELL HIM TO LEAVE!'
'no.'
'YES!'
"NO!"
"Shh Tyler don't yell."
"I don't want you to leave."
"Why would I leave?"
"Blurry told me to tell you to leave but I don't want you to leave."
"I'm not leaving."
I nodded and hugged Josh.

"You want to get something to eat?"
"No. I'm not hungry."
"I am."
"Go eat."
"Do you want to come? You don't have to eat. It just gets you out of the room for a bit.. Also I kinda want to be with you at all times right now."
I nodded and stood up.

We started walking towards the cafeteria.
I felt dizzy so I stopped walking.
Josh turned to look at me.
"Are you okay?"
"..dizzy."
He walked over to me until he was stood in front of me and he grabbed my hands.
I closed my eyes trying to make the hall stop spinning.
I opened my eyes and looked at Josh.
"Okay?"
"Yeah."
He held my hand the rest of the way to the cafeteria.
After Josh ate we went back to my room.

°~°

"Josh."
"Yeah?"
"I don't like it."
"You don't like what?"
"My skin feels cold but like I'm sweaty."
"It's okay. It's just a side effect of the medication."
"I want it to go away."
"I'm sure it'll pass."
I frowned.
"I'm not taking the medication anymore. I don't like the side effects."
"Your taking it."
"No."
"Tyler."
"I don't wanna."
"Tyler."
"I'm not taking it."
"Tyler!"
"What!"
"Your taking it. Stop fighting about it."
"I don't want to though."
"Well I want you to."
"Its not helping though."
"You haven't been taking it long enough to decide that."
I pouted.
"Medication sucks."
"I know."
"I'm tired."
"Go to sleep."
"Okay."

I snuggled into Josh's side and pulled the blankets over me.
