A Sudden DATE (Judal x Reader)

Love troubles(?)

Judal sat beside you and, although still slightly intimidated by your previous behaviour, started explaining everything to you in a calm and collected manner-a manner you thought impossible of Judal until then.

"First of all my lessons indeed finished about 3 hours ago. But I didn't do anything sketchy! I swear! I just visited the university library. We got a report to do on something and because.... well I am still hiding my course from you and you were here all day I thought I should make the report elsewhere... and the library was more interesting than I thought! At first I had planned to get over with the report in half an hour or so, because it was relatively short, but I got so engulfed by some books I ended up staying longer reading them... I am sorry I forgot to call you about it!"

He spoke calmly and then bowed his head apologetically.

You gasped in surprise.

You were of course relieved that he wasn't doing anything dangerous but more than that you were surprised. Surprised at the fact that Judal could get engulfed in a book. At the fact that he would take his reports and home work seriously.

"Judal... did you become a honour student or something the two years we were apart?"

"Well.... I guess my grades got slightly better... a bit..."

"You know that I was always being sent your grades by Kouha-kun?"

"Eh!!!? Seriously!? I was avoiding showing you on propose too!!! Aggh!"

"Why is that? Your grades improved so much! At first I was surprised but later I felt very proud to see you were taking your studies seriously... Coming to this realisation again I finally understand how long distance relationships are quite lacking in many ways..."

"Well... as for me... I had no problem living apart for such a short time like two years!!"

"I also got reports from Kougyoku that you went to her for love advice because you felt jealousy for my classmates overcoming you."

"AAAH!! I told her not to say anything!!!"

"You are not very good at keeping things a secret you know."

"Shut up!! Alright I missed you!! I missed you a lot!! So much that when you came over for vacation I wanted to lock you up my room and never let you leave again but-"

"Wow... You were a sadist? Really? I was totally convinced you were a masochist."

"WHERE DID THAT CONCLUSION COME FROM!? AND I AM NOT EITHER!!"

"Alright haha~ What could this be I wonder..."

"What could what be?"

"This everyday chitchatting with your lover... I missed it a lot... We have been together now for around a month but we didn't come across any love troubles yet so it's interesting in its own way!"

"Because we are already past the point of love misunderstandings and things? This might sound a bit rude but I am already totally used to you! At the point where I would call you the air I am breathing every day!"

Your cheeks lighted up a bit...

"Who knew Judal could actually say a romantic thing too once in a while!"

Which made Judal slightly blush as well.

You glanced at each other and then away. Then again you looked upon one another and burst out laughing...

While I really do want to end this story this funny situation is giving me motivation to write more??

No... Actually this Monday 18 Sept. this story will have reached its 3rd anniversary... I have not prepared a new cover because I was convinced I would finish this... I am afraid to end it... Because it is one thing I always do on Saturday and I haven't missed even one Saturday so far and I wanna keep going for a bit more....

I am sorry for being so selfish... But I really promise this time that if Magi ends, I will really start working towards the end of the story!

Okay I blabbed on too much... I will doodle a new cover and update it when I have it ready haha ^^"
