Prom. The biggest night of my life and I was sure I was going to miss it. Travelling on the Waverider was great. Except for times like this.

Rip had recruited me right out as I was starting my last year of college. He wanted me for my historical knowledge. I loved every second of travelling through time and could not believe some of the things I got to see. It was magical to an extent. But the most magical thing was falling for the cold criminal on board. Leonard Snart. It wasn't planned but then again nothing on this trip went as planned. Hell, nothing in my life went as planned after Rip asked us to join him on this mission. But Leonard definitely wasn't part of any plan I ever had. And I loved every second of it.

Prom was a week away and Leonard could tell that something was bothering me.

"Everything ok (Y/N)?" He asked for the millionth time. I sighed and fell back dramatically on my bed.

"Ugh!" I let out. Leonard smirked and carefully laid down next to me. "I've just been thinking." I finally answered, rolling over to look at him. Leonard stared up at the ceiling above my bed.

"About what?" He finally asked as he turned his head towards me. I sighed again.

"My prom would be next week." I said quietly. "It's silly I know but I kind of wanted to go. I didn't have a date but I had the dress already and the ticket and I just really wanted to go. My last party as a college student. Hell, probably my last party until I got married!" I laughed. Leonard smiled and gently took my hand.

"It's not silly." Leonard said as his attention went to playing with my fingers. I smiled and shook my head.

"To Rip it is." I muttered. Leonard's head snapped up.

"What?" He asked. There was a fire in his eyes that I only saw before a mission or he tried to steal something. I flinched a little from the sudden change.

"Rip thinks it is silly and doesn't want to go back just for the night. He thinks I'll have plenty of chances to go to more parties after the mission. Especially since he plans on dropping us back off exactly after we left." I said. Leonard let go of my hand and got off my bed quickly. I watched him as he left my room. I couldn't figure out what was going through his mind. I figured I didn't want to. When Leonard was like that, it was best to leave him to his thoughts and plans.

It wasn't long before the Waverider landed. I looked up from my book confused.

"Miss. (Y/L/N), Mr. Snart wanted me to inform you that we are outside your dorm in the year 2016. He also wanted me to inform you that he plans on leaving for the dance in 2 hours so please hurry in your preparations." Gideon said.

"What dance is he talking about Gideon?" I asked, confused and hopeful.

"I believe Mr. Snart called it a prom." Gideon replied. I smiled and jumped off my bed.

"Gideon, where is Leonard?" I asked.

"Mr. Snart is no longer on board Miss. (Y/L/N). I can track him if you would like." Gideon offered.

"No thanks Gideon." I said as I ran out of my room and off the ship. I quickly ran into my dorm hall and up the stairs to my room. I didn't have a roommate and for once I was grateful that I didn't. I quickly threw off all my clothes and took a quick shower. After my shower, I walked back into my room in a towel and opened my closet. I pulled out the dress and shoes that I planned on wearing. I quickly dried off and put on the dress.
