I pulled up next to the Impala and let my head fall against the wheel. It had been a long week. I had never had an issue with a solo salt and burn. But this one had thrown me for a loop. After getting my bearings, I got out of the car and grabbed my duffel from the back seat.

"Boys, I'm home!" I called as I pulled the heavy bunker door closed behind me. Sam's head popped out of the library and Cas came out of the warroom. I smiled as the two came over to welcome me home.

"Welcome back, (Y/N)." Cas said as he gave me a hug. I burrowed into his chest, glad for the warmth and familiarity of the taller angel.

"Good to be home Cas." I said as Cas backed away. Sam too his place and I could feel the tears starting to appear at the feeling of being home in the younger Winchester's arms.

"I'm glad your home (Y/N)." He whispered. I nodded and held onto him tightly. Sam picked me up slightly so he could hug me a little more comfortably.

"Me too Sammy." I breathed out. "Me too." We stood there for a little while longer before we broke apart. "Where is he?" I asked, looking around the room. Cas had left during our hug. Sam smiled down at me.

"He's waiting for you." Sam said with a smile. I nodded and headed down the hall to our shared bedroom. I knocked on the door before entering.

"Dean?" I asked, turning on the light. I gasped as I saw the set table, complete with candles and table cloth. "Dean?" My voice caught as I closed the door and walked into the room. Dean walked into the room from the bathroom. He smiled when he saw me in the room. "Dean."

"(Y/N)." He breathed before crossing the room to gather me into a bone crushing hug. "I missed you. So much." I nodded as I pulled him as close as I possibly could.

"I missed you Dean." I finally let the tears I had been holding back fall. "It was bad Dean. I'm never going solo again. I need my boys backing me up." Dean pulled away and nodded down at me, wiping some of my tears away.

"Whatever you need (Y/N). We'll be there for you. Always." He leaned down and kissed me. I reached up and cupped his cheeks. I pulled away in shock.

"You shaved!" I exclaimed. Dean chuckled as he nodded.

"Yeah. Figured I should drop the lumberjack look for a little while." I smiled up at him.

"Lumberjack or not, I love you." I laughed before kissing him again. After we finished kissing, we sat down to eat. The night was full of talking of everything and nothing. Dean seemed a little nervous. "Everything alright babe?" He nodded.

"Yeah." Dean assured me. I put it off as dinner continued. Not too much later, Dean got up and kneeled by my chair. "Everything is ok." He said when I opened my mouth. I nodded and waited for him to continue. "(Y/N), since you came into my life, it's gotten better. I've become a better hunter. I can look at my life and see myself getting old with you. With you going on that hunt alone, I was a nervous wreck the entire time. That's never happened before. It made me think and I'm sure this is the right choice and the right time." Dean smiled at me and pulled a box out of his pocket. "So (Y/N) (L/N), will you marry me?" I covered my mouth with my hands and nodded as tears streamed down my face.

"Yes. A million times yes!" I cried as I hugged Dean. He pulled back to put the ring on my finger

"Dean?" There was a knock on our door and Cas's voice came through. "Is everything alright?" Dean kissed me before getting up and opening the door.

"Yeah Cas. Everything is better than alright." Dean said as he opened the door.

"(Y/N) said yes?" I heard Sam before I saw him. Dean nodded with a smile as Cas entered the room to give me a hug. Sam hugged his brother before pulling me in too. "Welcome to the family." I joined the laughter as Sam pulled an unsuspecting Cas into our little group hug. Little did they know, they were already my family. Because family doesn't end in blood.
