"GHOSTBUSTERS! GHOSTBUSTERS!" the crowd chanted. I paid no mind to the voices surrounding me as I pushed my way through the crowd. I had to get to the barrier. I had to make sure he had gotten out alright. I had to make sure he was alive. As I continued to push my way to the barrier, I saw Peter and Dana come out of the building. My heart sped up knowing that if Peter was alright, he had to be alright too.

I finally made it to the barrier as Dana kissed Peter. I smiled a little knowing Peter had finally gotten what he had been hoping for ever since she walked into the Ghostbusters' fire station that first day. I looked behind them to see what I had been looking for. The man I had been worried for. He was covered in something white but he was ok. And that is all that mattered to me.

"RAY!" I shouted as I tried to get over the barrier. "RAY!" The man in question looked up from lighting his cigarette. His eyes met mine and I could see them light up even though we were far from each other. The smirk on his lips never left as he started to walk over to me. I got over the barrier and ran to him. "Ray!" I exclaimed as I hit him full force and wrapped my arms around him in a tight hug. Ray kept his balance and hugged me back just as tightly.

"It's ok (y/n). It's ok. I'm ok. You don't need to worry anymore. I'm safe." Ray said soothingly, knowing how much I had worried about him while he was on the rooftop. "I'm here." he whispered. I pulled back to look at him. I took the cigarette out of his mouth and threw it on the ground. Ray looked like he was about to complain when I pressed my lips to his. The cigarette forgotten, Ray kissed me back. We finally broke apart when the need for air became too much. Ray pulled me back to him and I buried my face in his neck.

"I'm so glad you're safe." I whispered. Ray nodded as he rested his chin on the top of my head.

"I am too." he whispered back. I pulled away from him when I heard Peter calling for him. "We should get going." I nodded in agreement and held onto Ray as best I could while he was wearing the proton pack. Ray had his arm around my shoulders as we walked back to Ecto-1.

"Oh. Ray?" I asked as Egon helped Ray take off the proton pack. Ray looked up at me to show he was listening. "The Stay-Puft Marshmallow man? Really?" I giggled. Ray blushed a little and smiled shyly.

"I thought.....I didn't know.......I tried my best ok?" Ray stuttered out. Egon chuckled behind Ray and I knew I'd get the story from either him or Peter once we got back to the station. Or maybe during the ride. I smiled at Ray and leaned up to kiss his cheek.

"It's ok. But it's going to be one hell of a clean up with all that marshmallow on the streets." I laughed. Ray smiled at me and shook his head.

"Yeah it is." He said as he held the door to Ecto-1 for me. "Yeah it is."
